This system was designed to send these notifications through email addresses set
up by customers, who subscribed to this service.
Implementation of this project resulted in significant cost savings to the
firm.

Also an offline solution for IBDs to view pertinent client information, through
Blackberry was designed as a part of this project

Worked on an interface to create and send New service Orders to another system

Processing and to receive various status messages from this other system and
update the database.
This interface involved parsing and building messages and the transport system
used was IBM MQ Series.
Worked on the "Emergency 911 Address Validation" system. This system validated
the address provided by the 911 caller against the addresses stored in the
database.

Team: CNUM
Worked on CNUM, a Number Administration System. The system provides
high-performance data access to manage number related service requests for all
communication services including video, telephony, residence and business through
one integrated database.
Modules worked on include Conversion, Transition, Number Selection, Service
Activation, Number Management, Service Portability etc. Designed and developed
key areas of almost all of the modules using C++ on UNIX. Used SQL and Vendor
supplied tools like QUANTIFY and PURIFY to fine-tune the performance. Took a lead
in the effort to enhance the capabilities of CNUM to international telephone
numbers (I18N).
Worked closely with ancillary groups like QA, Product Specification to suggest
means and ways to improve the existing product and to add new functionality.
