programs and software design.  A long-term goal is to write software for a
videogame publisher.

Software Engineer
My responsibilities include the design and development of software for the
company. This software is developed using EJB3 JAVA and SQL programming languages
and utilizes xml as a structure for our data. I also assist in other projects
within our company performing NetFlow data collection on several networks located
at both Ft. Monmouth and Ft. Dix, and have performed configurations on computer
systems for the government. I am currently supporting the DoD and U.S. Army in
the RDECOM CERDEC PM C4ISR OTM group.
 
1/2004 – 7/2005              The Home Depot              Hamilton, NJ
Inventory Management Associate
I am responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts for over 10,000 items
in the hardware department. I use a mobile PC workstation that is connected to
the mainframe through a wireless network to maintain accurate counts and to order
products. An additional responsibility is a continuous adjustment of prices on
all items. I also help customers throughout the day in the hardware department. I
work as part of a team that must manage its time to be able to accomplish a
variety of tasks on a daily basis. This job has taught me how to manage my time
without supervision.
 
7/2000 - 1/2004              The Home Depot              Hamilton, NJ
Sales Associate
As a sales associate in the hardware department, I assisted customers and worked
freight with other department associates. This job was very structured in that
each associate was responsible for a certain section of the department. The
maintenance of the department was evaluated once per week by the management. 
This style of management also allowed me to exceed management’s goals for the
department and accomplish the goals that I set for myself as well.
 
8/1997 - 7/2000              Ames Department Store              Wrightstown, NJ
Lead Stockroom Associate
I worked as the head of the stockroom associates. The store manager would assign
the work-list for the day to me and I was responsible for ensuring that the
stockroom staff would complete all assigned tasks. I was responsible for making
sure all of the sale items were in stock and that any fresh freight was put on
the shelves. On Sunday mornings I would go in early and help set the ad signs for
the new week with the opening manager.

I am a graduate of Thomas Edison State College with a Bachelor of Science in
Applied Science and Technology in Computer Science Technology.
I completed courses from Burlington County College, New Jersey Institute of
Technology (NJIT), University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and Thomas
Edison in order to complete my degree.

Coursework Completed
I continued to further my computer science degree at NJIT. There I took upper
level computer courses. I also joined a team of fellow student in designing,
writing, and running a text based MUD (multiple user dungeon) from the server at
NJIT. I was also taking a minor in Mathematics at NJIT, but did not carry it over
to Thomas Edison. The closing of this campus necessitated my completing the
degree at Thomas Edison State College.
