GRADUATE PROJECTS
Network Design
A Lab Network Topology was designed using OPNET Modeler. The various elements
and Interfaces involved were configured and the network performance statistics
were analyzed using Simulation.
Network Analysis
ETHEREAL packet sniffer was used to capture and analyze packets: especially TCP,
IP besides the DHCP, ARP and DNS packets and explained its performance for each
protocol.
Store Inventory Management
Software developed using .Net Framework 2.0 and SQL Server 2005. It facilitates
customer login, product search, purchase and allows owner to alter Product Price,
Units in Stock and update stock after transaction.
UNDERGRADUATE PROJECTS
Notepad
Created a Notepad application using C# and .Net Framework 2.0. It helps user to
enter text with various fonts and sizes and save it. The user can open and edit
the saved file and also save as a different file.
Implementation of TCP/IP on Microcontrollers
Created a Virtual Lab using Microcontroller and Realtek NIC where programs from
different terminals can be received and executed at the Microcontroller and
results are send back to the respective terminals.
LAB WORK
Networking Lab, New Jersey Institute of Technology
Performed Lab experiments in UNIX environment (SUN Microsystems machines)
using different commands for (TCP, IP, UDP, ICMP) and implemented a project based
on OPNET modeling and submitted well documented lab reports.
Used ETHEREAL packet sniffer to capture and analyze packets: especially TCP,
IP besides the DHCP, ARP and DNS packets and explained its performance for each
protocol.
TECHNICAL PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS
Presented the following technical studies in New Jersey Institute of Technology
Video Streaming and DVB-H Jan.08 May.08
Technical presentation with focus on How Video streaming and DVB-H technology
is used in new generation cellular systems.
Architecture of UMTS-WiMax Interworking Aug.07 Dec.07
A study of a possible UMTS-WIMAX interworking architecture based on the 3GPP
standards and the seamless inter-system handover scheme which enables the
service continuity with low handover latency and packet loss.
