A. Worked as a Senior Programmer with Tata Infotech Limited, Chennai from
May 2000 to April 2002.
The following projects were done by me during my tenure at Tata Infotech
limited,
Chennai.
1. Project : Tata Student Information System
Duration : August 2001 – April 2002
Platform : Java, JavaScript, Oracle
Project Description/Responsibilities:
Developed prototype website for advisory service promoting strategic vision
through appropriate graphics and design. Designed hierarchal structure for
website providing students with a logically connected and easy to navigate
interface. Assisted in developing the database structure for student and
company information streaming to and from website. Provided support for
the final testing and debugging of the website. Used tools such as Flash,
Photoshop, gif animator and Frontpage for Web designing.
2. Project : (eCampus) Library Management System
Duration : December 2000 – July 2001

Project Description/Responsibilities:
Managing Books, Magazines, Journals, Publications, CDs, Audio and
videocassettes. Incorporating different rules for different members of library
(viz. teaching staff, administrative staff, visiting staff, students), fine
structure, auto subscription notes, rack-wise book record, popular book voting,
easy search facility – title wise, author wise, subject wise, publisher wise and
content wise are some of the key features in this system. The Various modules in
the project are Library Inventory, Member Mgt. Issues and Returns Environment.

Project Description/Responsibilities:
This project deals with the files within the department, and determines how the
files are moved from one department to another department in the secretariat. It
also provides the necessary details regarding the status and state of the files.
The objective of the project is to monitor the flow of files of various
discipline according to the hierarchy. The fundamental goal of this project is to
provide enhanced method to handle files. This project contains the problem of
complexity and back of physical constraint and boundaries. Security and guidance
for the user is provided at every level.
2. Project : WINNER 2000 (Mathematical Computer Based
Training) for
ORBIT Infocom Private Limited
Duration : May 1999 – November 1999
Platform : Visual Basic, MS-SQL Server
Project Description/Responsibilities:
This is a mathematical computer based training package for the secondary school
syllabus. This project had various modules like Lectures, Exercises, Quiz, Games,
etc. The Lecture section explained mathematics entirely through animation. The
Quiz module had a number of mathematical questions stored in the database and
generated in a randomize method in the quiz section. The Games section had a
number of games through which the concepts of number systems could be explained.
Many ActiveX features and Controls were extensively used in this project, which
was equipped with multimedia facilities making learning an easy task.
Responsibilities include
• System study, Requirements gathering and Analysis from the Users.
• Performed detail design of the project including screen designs and
coding.
• Prepared test cases both unit and functional.
• Performed testing is all phases of the product development lifecycle.
