After pointing out the weak points of the base Lawson scheduling function, I
recommended that the Tivoli Workload Scheduling product be implemented for
production job scheduling. My recommendation was followed, and I performed all
analysis, design, and Unix script coding for the scheduling and monitoring of all
custom enhancements and interfaces in production for the Lawson Finance system.
In the Lawson Finance enhancement phase I developed the majority of the needed
custom modifications, two examples; A complex online background task for
monitoring and printing for the AP invoice voucher batching process for
microfiche archival; Programs and process for AP Vendor payments and convertion
of vendor payments from paper check to EFT.
Performed the majority of work for moving custom code forward for the Lawson
Finance 8.0.1 to 8.0.3 upgrade as well as a subsequent upgrade to version 9.0.
