#1. Self-Employed * Owner of SFS INC Security Company
This position was held from (06-2004 * Present, San Jacinto CA)
I have owned/operated my own Security/Loss Prevention/and Executive Protection
Specialist Company for the past 5 years (SFS INC, Striving For Success
Incorporated).
We had several accounts in the Security related fields from construction sites,
hotels, strip malls, foot and vehicle patrol in private communities, along with
condominiums and apartment complex 's. We also work special events (such as
large concerts and parking venues) and have recently ventured into the Executive
Protection Specialist areas for high profile clients.
#2. Security Manager, Soboba Casino San Jacinto, California
This position was held from (January 2004 to August of 2007 San Jacinto, CA)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Formulating and Administering departmental budget, development of goals and
objectives, and ensured all policies and laws were followed.
Additionally, I ensured the safety of all guests and employees while they were
on the property. I was responsible for the entire facility (inside and property
which included all areas of the security and surveillance departments).
I conducted all the hiring, coordinating, and teaching of all training and
prepared all employee evaluations and work performance. I also made sure to
recognize all the employees that were going above and beyond the regular call of
duty.
#3. Deputy Sheriff/Special Investigations Unit/Academy Instructor & Coordinator
This position was held from (12/1989 to 5/2003 San Diego, California)
Assigned to Law Enforcement Services, Southeastern Command * Lemon Grove
Station and South San Diego areas
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Shift Supervisor/Manager, team leader, select/supervise sworn & non-sworn
personnel for various positions, training coordinator, personnel scheduling,
maintain training files, basic patrol duties as Peace Officer, wrote/prepared
policy and procedures, conducted preliminary investigations at crime scenes,
gathering of information and the recruitment of confidential informants, assist
specialized units with the service of search and arrest warrants. I Coordinated
many undercover operations, involving stakeouts and surveillance, conducted
special operations with multiple agencies and implemented and developed
departmental budget and goals for the upcoming year.
Appointed California State expert in narcotic cases/investigations and people
who are under the influence of controlled substances. I am a certified Drug Abuse
Recognition Expert in the state of California.
Additionally, broad and extensive experience in all major areas of police and
safety operations along with knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques
of police and safety administration.
Was also an STC Academy Coordinator and Instructor in various areas.
Other duties included, but were not limited to coordination of mandatory
training for all facility personnel (both sworn and non-sworn), update and
maintain training files and schedules and ongoing development of scenario and
briefing training. Created training manual and wrote policies and procedures
regarding facility operations and trained all incoming facility personnel.

Operations Specialist/Air Traffic Controller/Naval Police
Duties: Radio and radar operations, air traffic control duties and
responsibilities for helicopters and some fixed wing aircrafts, and was in charge
of all low visibility approaches in emergency situations. Performed security
functions on security alert team and stood armed guard watch posts. Last 2 years
of service was assigned to Naval Police Unit on 32nd Street Base, San Diego.
