Sr. Manager ECC Group Global Communication
Managed directly and indirectly a team of 20 engineers including Supervisors,
Technical Specialists, and Sr. & Jr. Engineers globally. Responsibilities
included capacity planning, network infrastructure, and globally connectivity,
including trending of all regions. Accountable for the global data network
budget, employee reviews, salary administration, travel and expense, time
reporting, development plans, and project status/review. Covered different roles
and responsibility during acquisitions and divestitures, though out my time at
Arrow.

Planned, designed, developed proof of concept, implemented, and supported WAN
& LAN Global and logistical networks in 53 countries or 800 locations worldwide.
Reduced Telecom Carrier annual savings by $2.9 million from three major areas,
contractual (renegotiation of contracts), dispute (data & voice billing
disputes), and analysis (evaluation of reduction, downgrade, replace, or
eliminate).
Supported/Managed the IT budget of about $40 million of which Enterprise
Collaboration & Connectivity represents $14 million.
Negotiations of global vendor demos, consulting engagements, and carrier
contracts, which resulted in $1.8 million in savings for 2007.
Migrated to a full meshed MPLS wide area network globally with three different
carries, one being a managed service. Including VoIP for voice mail services in
the US, Canada, and India.
Built high available Internet end user, Ecommerce, and Vendor/Partner
environments. Sourced the management and monitoring of our international
security firewalls to Verisign while achieving the SLAs to our customers.
Designed and implemented Global Video Conferencing and a video learning center
where we were able to stream video/audio to our locations for CEO/CIO messages as
well as content training with Ciscos streaming media method.
Implemented proxies with load balancers into the end user environment, giving
the user experience better performance to the Internet, thus lowering our
bandwidth requirement.
Designed, implemented, enhanced, and supported a logistics wireless backbone
worldwide including Hotspots, thus making the environment multipurpose.
Compiled the analysis and supported the roll out Microsoft Exchange, Active
Directory globally, Internet email Access from anywhere and calendaring sharing,
which was a process improvement.

Temporary Staff Corporate Office with 400 North American offices and 3 billion
in revenue.
Lead Project Engineer
Responsibility included designing and implementing North America business center
networks. Supervisory responsibilities were project managing oriented. Enhance
the support organization on new technologies and training.
Innovator of TPC/IP mid-range system (IBM AS/400) platform for major business
service centers. This newer technology gave our BSCs (Business Service center)
an enhanced line of network communications.
Structured and supervised a team of network engineers/analysts & second level
help desk analysts to support the AS/400 and ATM & Frame Relay connectivity,
resulting in a top level design/implementation and support organization.
Lead for wide area network project installing, AS/400, mail server, and file
server using TELNET and FTP for 5 North American business service centers
including; wiring for data & voice, A/C, electrical, work space planning, and
total design of MDF. This provided a secure and safe environment for our BSCs
to operate.

Health Care Staffing Corporate Office, with 275 US based offices and 300
million in revenue.
Director of Office Automation and Field Support
Management responsibilities of 30 people including operations staff, systems
analyst, PC group, hot line, distribution center, and data entry.
Responsibilities included managing the budget for the group and tracked all
return on investment projects.

Designed, implemented, and supported the first AS/400 automated system in the
temporary health care field. This gave our field locations a competitive edge at
a time where health care companies where competing for the market space.
Reported directly to the president on new acquisitions from a technical
position. This information provided the executives with a better understanding
of what can be leveraged and what could not.

Life Insurance and Annuities A+ Company with 150 field offices.
Operations Controller
Responsibilities included but not limited to overseeing the computer operations
for the entire North American sales force and client agencies. This included;
client statements, commission checks, and annuity and life insurance policies.
Completed RJE reports for sales force and corporate management ran quarterly
sales reports and annually tax reports, including W2s and 1099s. Provided
financial (personal and corporate based) information to our entire corporate and
sales offices.
