* Direct all new product development at AcquiData and transfer new products into

Engineering group

automation system to varied manufacturing plants for quality assurance through
the use of software such as Visual Studio .NET (VB, ASP), Visual C++, MFC

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Made all web-based client applications - upgraded systems on client’s servers,

* Released the Configuration Maintenance Utility - allowed Testream/CS users to

best-selling program that was developed using VB.NET that created formatted

party controls such as FarPoint Spread 3.0 for Windows(spreadsheet) and Gigasoft

* Created the web-based program, Real-Time Data Display - developed using JAVA
and transferred to VB.NET; displayed all laboratory activities on a spreadsheet
to view/monitor the testing in lab in REAL-TIME by workers on the manufacturing
floor as well as by management within the premises
* Web Services - Developed various modules using WebParts and Web services that
can be used in the dashboard; checked status of Testream/CS system; dashboard
modules became a good tool for measurement of productivity in the paper mills
* Developed Data Exchange tables - acted as a middle man (memory buffer) between
Testream/CS and any other higher-level external system for exchanging lab data.

* Served as the Manager / Developer of Field Engineering and as technical guru
for the Field Engineering personnel
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Directed the successful Testream System Installations - guided customers on
Testream System and gathered information on the customer’s requirements during
the pre-installation planning meetings; established an installation arrangement
and schedule which could be met by AcquiData and the customer
* Established and supervised the Field Engineering Team - devised and
corresponded the vision of the ideal Field Engineering Department and instituted
weekly performance goals with Field Engineer
* Launched the Productivity Measurements that monitored performance of the Field
Engineering Department - defined the restrictions and automated reports using
Clientele (CRM system)
* Proposed and instigated the rewriting of Testream to Testream/CS
(client-server) - utilized the newest tools available such as Visual C/C++, MFC
library, VB (front-end), SQL server (back-end), and JAVA applets for a software
package that displayed the lab activities in REAL-TIME
* Implemented the TIU2 Calculation Logic separated from the compiled TIU2

standard packages and the calculations were defined as a script using ASCII

* Designed and implemented a system in “C/C++” that would act as Microsoft
“Source Safe” to internal developers on DEC/VAX System; this was utilized for two
years and switched to Windows Operating System and source safe
* Added new modules to Testream/CS to keep pace in the changing technology and
customer needs

* Studied, maintained, and troubleshot Testream/CS system installed at diverse
paper mills and research laboratory
* Utilized C/C++ and Assembly; DBVista (non-relational database); Vermont Views
(screen handlers); DEC/VAX and concurrent DOS platforms (multi-user DOS sessions)
for Testream
* Acquired full knowledge of DEC/VAX VMS, system/user processes, networking
