Laundromat Attendant
I have been a laundromat attendant at Kem's Laundromat for twenty-two years.
While employed here, I attended the local community college in Schenectady and
received an associate's degree in business administration. I was employed during
the day at clerical and secretarial work for many years while working at the
laundromat evenings, week-ends and holidays. I received computer training in
Microsoft software programs and learned to access Internet information.
I am an older worker, having been employed continuously since age fourteen. In
addition, to the associate's degree, I also attended the College of St. Rose in
Albany, NY with a full scholarship. I received a bachelor's degree in arts

Testing Auditor
For this temporary work, I passed a qualifying exam to audit English and math
exams that high school students in NY must pass to graduate. I was paid $10.91 an

Program Secretary
I was Program Secretary to six Physical Education teachers. I accomplished all
correspondence between the teachers and the membership. I typed program
schedules, processed payments for children's and adult physical education

I attended the Schenectady Community College primarily to learn the desktop
computing and the new software programs from Microsoft. I first accessed the
Internet at college and later purchased my own home office, fully-equipped with
the Internet, Microsoft software and e-mail. I wiould be happy to work at home or
on-site.
Employment
 	
I am searching for employment in the arts. education, or any non-profit in need
of clerical and secretarial employees. I would like to work on a newsletter or
database maintenance.
I would like to maintain contact with a membership base using e-mail,
newsletters and websites.
Skills
 	
I use computers and Microsoft software programs everyday. I have excellent
training in English and business correspondence. I am very familiar with the
Internet and access it for information I need everyday.I became a NYS certified
teaching assistant in 2007.
