Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines – Ft. Lauderdale, FL

> New network roll out. The new system was 3 Win2K servers (per vessel) using
Cisco BBSM technology/Sat Comm.  to deliver Internet connectivity via Wi-Fi and
hard line to the vessels’ occupants. In addition 50 – 100 client machines were
deployed per vessel. This was a fleet wide project.
> Cisco switching configuration changes were needed and executed on an “as
needed” basis.


Tech Support Engineer - Field Service Engineer               	02/2005 – 2/2007
Siemens Communications – Boca Raton, FL

> Technical support for Siemens’ customer service cellular laboratory.
Install/troubleshoot/configure/maintain Client side IT services
(Windows/Solaris/Linux). Cisco support was also provided at a maintenance level
(I.E. Adding new network interfaces.).
> New network roll out for the North Carolina and NY/NJ markets. RF surveys
(Cognio), area mapping and Point to Point bandwidth testing (over the air
interfaces) with IXIA Chariot were integral for proper deployment. The new system
was comprised of BA200 Wi-Fi nodes. The application was cellular backhaul or
Wi-Fi delivery of Internet service. 
	o Managed the installation crews throughout the entire deployment schedule.
Also took the opportunity to have active role in determining the final layout of
the network design for the entire deployment schedule.
