Web Developer/Project Manager
Responsible for project management and development in web applications working
with ASP.NET(using C#), and SQL using development tools such as Visual Studio
2005, SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Access, Photoshop, and Macromedia Flash. 
Conferred with clients to outline requirements and transform ideas into working
models using Class Designs, UML use cases and usage scenarios.  Addressed
customer service related issues and performed consulting services in regards to
graphic solutions as well as applications.




Projects __________________________________________________________________

•	4x Diagnostics – Custom administration software designed for 4x Diagnostics, a
vibrations analysis company based in Rochester, NY. A data intensive website
built using ASP.NET (C#) and Microsoft Access to manage the company’s course
training. The administration section allows for maintaining training course
schedules, managing customers, reporting, and handling payment transactions
through Authorize.NET with XML.  Recent added functionality has been implemented
to incorporate a personalized FTP program using ASP.NET membership providers in
Sql Server which was migrated from Access.  Use of CSS was implemented to
maintain site layout and design.

•	Wedding Management Software – Application designed to ease the organization
and planning of wedding events, specifically guest list administration with
invitation printing.  The system is a web based system working with SQL Server
2008 Express and C# incorporated within a 3 tier design using object oriented
programming.  The guest invitation printing portion of the system was developed
with Sql Server Reports using the Visual Studio 2008 environment.  Using Project
2007 the management of developers and tasks was simplified.

•	CMS – A fully integrated Content Management System capable of handling
Newsletters, Blogs, E-book storage, Dynamic Page Management.  The Dynamic page
creation provides the user the ability to create ASPX pages and sitemaps on the
fly using a 3 tier design in ASP.NET 3.5 with C# and a backend of SQL Server
2008.  Through the use of the Telerik controls the users can add images, video
and Flash content at their own discretion as well as format the page to their
liking.  Design specifications where managed with UMLs (use cases and usage
scenarios) in Visio 2003 and Project 2007 to manage all developers and tasks.  A
customized Flash tool was also created to allow users to customize color schemes
(using gradients, premium colors, etc) for their vinyl graphics while exporting
the final results through communication with C# and SQL Server to the printers in
completion.  Use of CSS and ASP.NET Master Pages to easily manage site design and
maintenance.

•	Legal Tracker – An online management system for law firms to ease the
management of client cases and billing.  Responsible for gathering user
requirements and implementing the design using technologies such as ASP.NET 3.5
and SQL Server 2008 along with SQL Server Reporting Services.  (In Progress)

Thomson Reuters, Rochester, NY				 September 2008 – January 2009
Software Engineer 
Responsible for developing and maintaining the UI portion of an ASP.NET 2.0
application through the use of technologies such as C#, AJAX, XML, and Oracle
database with VS 2005 and Sql Developer as developments tool to create a more
fulfilling experience for the clients.

Projects __________________________________________________________________

•	Westlaw Watch– Managed the UI portion of the system to handle updates and new
development to handle the demands of law firms across the country as well as the
standards of the (DOJ) Department of Justice.  Made use of C# using Web Services
to communicate with multiple systems throughout the company to feed data in and
out of the application while working with Oracle as a backend to handle client
data storage.
  

Harris RF, Rochester, NY					       November 2007 – April 2008
Software Engineer 
Determined user requirements within the current system to enhance their current
workflow and prevent bottle necks experienced by their technicians and
administrators.  Using technologies such as SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005,
ASP.NET (C#), Classic ASP, XML and AJAX were required to properly implement the
system and move them from Classic ASP to ASP.NET using C#.

Projects __________________________________________________________________

•	PSD Maintenance– Reworked the current structure of a Classic ASP application
to perform a gradual upgrade to ASP.NET using C# and SQL Server 2005 along with
advanced session management techniques to allow Classic ASP and ASP.NET to run
seamlessly between one another.  Reworked the backend structure as well to
implement a proper 3 Tier design taking an object oriented approach to increase
performance of the application and lower the future maintenance.


Sitel, Buffalo, NY						November 2006 – November 2007
Senior Level Programmer
Responsible for analyzing user requirements and laying out design specifications
for N-Tier systems using development tools such as SQL Server 2000, Visual Studio
2003 & 2005, and SOAP UI.  Developed the UI and Web Services for multiple
applications using AJAX 1.0 and ASP.NET 2.0 and connected to Web Services in C#
to access the Business Layer. 

Projects __________________________________________________________________

•	Altiris Integration – Customized the design of Altiris Helpdesk to provide an
all in one solution for the internal support team offering a decreased down time
for clients.  This involved the use of ASP.NET 1.1 and SQL Server 7 including
working with a customized component API (AppWeaver) to integrate existing
business processes as well as existing software into one main support
application
•	Sharepoint Site Revision – Managed the revision of the team Sharepoint site to
provide a more manageable structure along with a more matching look and feel to
our corporate style.
•	Team Foundation Server – Worked with upper management to begin incorporating
TFS into our current structure including the conversion of Source Safe 6.0 and
the training of Team Explorer’s functionality to administration and end users.
