Projects:
Narayana Associates - Metering Billing and Collection Program: The Project was
done to automate the electricity billing process that was outsourced by the
Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board (APSEB) Machilipatnam branch, a division
of the state government of Andhra Pradesh, India, to Narayana Associates. The
software -- for bill and report generation -- used a database updated by Narayana
Associates with data periodically provided by APSEB. Copies of bills and notices
will be sent over to the consumers and the electricity department at the end of
the billing process.
The following functionalities were implemented:
Billing:
Handling of Different types of consumptions (normal, abnormally high or
abnormally low)
Billing for unfurnished readings due to a stuck electric meter, nil
consumption or any other reasons.
Adding/Modifying services based on an updated database indicating
additions/modifications to the existing services.
Handling of deletions, under disconnections and disconnections that require
generating notices.
Reporting: All reports were generated for a selected time period.
Various reports generated include:
Listing of generated bills
Consumer billing ledger
Consolidated account of different types of bills
Consolidated account of different types of consumptions
Bill book abstract providing generic consumer data, based on certain selection
criteria
Andhra Electronics Product Database: The project is about creating a database
of various products manufactured by the company, with details of dimensions,
categorization, imported parts, production details, product internal id,
ownership, ordered shipment details on date of production and reporting based on
product category and time of production.
Sri Krishna Real Estates - Real Estate Management: Management of various real
estate properties associated with the firm and list of clientele. A Data driven
project for storing and maintaining a record of real estate properties, with
their floor plans, cost of sale, owner details, cost of brokerage, location,
amenities and perspective clientele list. Details of deal closings and out
listing the properties.
Magna Stock Management: Magna is a retail grocery shop with a single store.
The project is about the retail management system and point of sale for all store
items. Reporting consisted of timely (weekly, monthly, yearly) sales reports.
Stock reports for individual items with history and a general stock history for
all items.
Narayana Medical Stores: The program for medical store is similar to the Stock
management for magna, with changes in product line and with less complex
structures. The program has stock management and point of sale with alerts that
pop when the stock is less than a given limit. The system has a single report
that shows the current stocks for each item.
Other projects: Store management for small shops, timetable for instructors,
expense report calculator, Xml feed download for xml files and image files,
captcha project.
Ongoing projects:
Intranet website for a moving company. To manage their employees,
customers, orders, payments. Induces Google map integration.
Website development for a software consulting company.
Xml Feed downloads/uploads from/to Amazon. Updating the database with
the new products from downloads. Mapping of updates on existing product base, for
a local store.

VB.NET Coding for Sumtotal Suite 8.1(product development phase - I).
Coding in SQL Server for Data Loads and Data Extracts.
Writing development and Test Plans and executing project life cycles.

Creating Reports (conditional, form, drill-down reports, graphical,
grouping, sub-totals).

Amgen: Amgen requested customizations on Sumtotals LMS 7.6 Suite that required
auditing training data, changes to the course structures and their completions.
LA Code generation, Assigning LA to specific Audiences, E-signatures for Audit
are few other features added to the product for Amgen.
Wells Fargo Bank - Centra integration: Centra is a third party tool, which was
integrated with Total LMS Suite 7.1(Product of Sumtotal) for Wells Fargo. Centra
integration required synchronizing and launching of Centra activities by creating
sessions, assigning leaders, instructors and audience in LMS.
CUNA: CUNA, Credit Union National Association, had a list of customizations that
were integrated into their Total LMS Suite 7.1. Few of the customizations are as
listed:
New User Self Registration.
Forgot Password Utility.
Membership.
Comp Code.
Data Loads.
Data Extracts.
Allstate: Allstate Insurance required a new usability package customized in the
Total LMS Suite 7.1, which will display LMS time zone for activities that the
user registers and launches. Allstate had a customization in Report Manager, to
include new reports (GAP Reports) for Instructor Led Courses in LMS and
Incomplete User Registrations.
ToysRus Bulk Registration: ToysRus uses the Aspen 2.5 Suite of Sumtotal. Bulk
Registration is a customized registration process for ToysRus. Users can select a
list of Web Based Trainings make a single registration for all of them.
Mercury Interactive - E-commerce: E-commerce is an additional feature that was
customized for Mercury Interactive in the Total LMS Suite 7.1. This customization
has a third party verification/authorization for trading that happens through
LMS.
Sovereign Bank: Sovereign Bank had new reports added in Report Manager (A
Reporting Tool of Total LMS Suite 7.2). New Data sets are created for new reports
required by Sovereign Bank.
Report Manager is a Sumtotal Tool used to design and generate reports based on
the application database. My Responsibilities include:
Designing and testing new reports based on the new data sets.
Exporting the XML of tested reports to the customer.

Revenue Tracker: Revenue Tracker is an internal Revenue Tracking tool for
Infosys. It keeps track of the revenue generations and targets of Revenue.
TL9K Cisco Tool: TL9k is a Cisco Tool, which is used to measure the Quality of
Cisco Hardware products by comparing it with the market standards, and Cisco set
standards for a particular product. This includes testing the product across
various Hardware Components of Cisco like Routers, switches.
The tool was built in java using servlets and PL/SQL.
