Work Experience
Nature Maiden® Bath & Body- I started this product line out of my kitchen in
2007, and continue to work out of my home. I am currently working on marketing
strategies, and hope to get some of my products into several local shops in
2010.
I alone handle all phases of my business, from product testing & development,
label design, paperwork, taxes, marketing, website maintenance, spreadsheets,
press releases, etc. I’ve also donated some of my products for several events
such as fundraising when requested.
Sea Tow International- I have a lot of computer processing experience from my
previous employment at Sea Tow. I worked in the Membership Department processing
memberships, handling payments and processing applications from other Sea Tow
franchises. I’ve worked in MS Excel, Outlook, Word & Access. I was responsible
for many different daily processing & projects which included the upkeep of Sea
Tow’s members’ system. I handled the phone & address customer’s concerns as well.
I also have trained new co-workers with different applications & procedures
necessary for their position. When addressed with an issue with a customer that
needed immediate attention, if I was not able to address their concern at that
moment, I would immediately personally deliver it to someone who could, and
always followed up with that dept to make sure the issue was resolved. It is
important to me that when I tell a customer something, that I stand by my word
and the issue is resolved, or whatever the situation is- no matter whether small
or significant.
