Op. System, and assisted with implementation of TES, Ingenix Claims Manager and
GE/IDX Eligibility. Also worked on Advanced Web upgrade. Daily monitor
printer queues in ops, main software, above interfaces, troubleshoot user
problems, and basic reports using DBMS Report Writer, including patient No-Show

* Have developed programs for the following departments using Meditech NPR
Report Writer vs. 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8 & 4.9: Admissions, Billing,
Payroll/Personnel, Materials Management, Order Entry, Abstracting, Medical
Records, Radiology, Laboratory (blood bank and pathology), Physician Billing,
Nursing and Scheduling.
* Prepared and conducted an in-house training class for Meditech NPR Report
Writer - Introductory.
* Prepared and maintain hospital outpatient/inpatient and ER patient face sheet.
This NPR includes using PCL to adjust margins, line returns, spacing, etc.

Meditech Support – Pleasant Valley Hospital
* Monitored and advised management about the storage space on the main operating
system.
* Performed operating system updates for the Meditech MAGIC system.
* Ran daily checks of the computer system to check for integrity of software.
* Ran monthly utilities such as Database Compaction and Database Analysis.
* Worked with two others to provide MIS security and user dictionary upkeep.
Provided custom screens hospital-wide for individuals or groups who do not need
full access to the main software screen.
* Responsible to maintain two identical systems in TEST and LIVE. Must keep all
custom screens and access the same in both to maximize training in the TEST
system.
* Have received formal training for Admissions, NPR, operating system and MIS.
* Worked with the Billing/Accounts Receivable closely to prepare the computer
for this software going "Live".
* Setup PC's with the Meditech software. This includes using a 10-Base T
network card and using TCP addressing with the network.
* Working knowledge of the computer closets (HUB's) of the network. Make cables
as needed. Setup the software and hardware to communicate at each closet and
with the operating system.
* Working knowledge of the following PC software: Netscape, Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint and Excel, PageMaker, Corel Draw, dBase IV, Word Perfect, Harvard
Graphics, PC Tools and numerous others.
* Worked closely with the Clinical Analyst to troubleshoot and find ways to make
the system more user-friendly for staff.
* Worked closely with the Meditech "Help Desk" to cover the phones and take call
when necessary.
