EXPERIENCE
- I’ve worked in a number of temporary and permanent jobs, both as a contractor
and as an employee. Many jobs have required me to be on-call for support.
- In these jobs I have provided technical support in offices, manufacturing
plants, telephone support desks, and in the field. In all of these environments a
customer service orientation was
important.
- I have used the telephone to gather financial and market information for
Fortune 500 corporate clients interested in acquiring smaller companies. I wrote
reports of this information to clients.
- I have manned the telephone as a software engineer providing support to a
variety of computer systems including ORACLE databases and SCADA systems.
- I was part of a team of environmental technicians/engineers that collected
water samples from local rivers and performed basic measurements, data entry from
lab tests, and basic analysis.
- I have successfully modified software for 8 vehicle airbag installation
stations on an automobile assembly line. Air-wrench torque measurements and bar
code scans were read into a computer database.
- I wrote a program in MS ACCESS using Visual Basic for a Coldwell Banker Realty
franchise to track sales performance by Realtor.
- I have worked extensively with MS WORD to produce large-scale reports for a
Civil Engineering and Planning company.
- I have worked extensively in MS EXCEL in data manipulation and graphing in my
last position.
- Programming projects have included creating a retail lockbox interface to move
