  Systems Developer 
    Multi-platform C++ imaging and database application development (wxwidgets).
Authored the primary imaging application used by company personnel for processing
mortgages. Application provides utility to render, annotate, print, and maintain
tiff, jpeg, and pdf document page files from data repository on site.
    Embedded-SQL C++ development. Designed system for online dynamic search
screen generation, customized per client, for document lookup from image
repository. Database tables accessed by both C++ API and SQL queries from within
application.
    C++ web services host and client development. Authored host service for
internet SOAP access to an in-house data repository. Complete design and
implementation of the host cgi web service via gSOAP stubs (wsdl / C++), as well
as client gui and command line applications for transactions with partners.
Programmed many of the core modules running on production system.

  Systems Programmer 
    Responsible for database table design, update, encryption, and repair.
Designed gui and command line database maintenance applications for searching,
editing, and creating tables, with definitions maintained in XML format.
    Program in-house Linux C (gcc) systems for automating mortgage processing on
a c-tree client-server database. Program Faircom c-tree dbserver access by
low-level and ISAM-level calls. Build gui screens using Motif. Involved with
porting legacy C applications, circa 1993, to C++. Major contributor to system
development libraries. 

Teleflora Technologies - ADS Systems - Apr 1999 to Sept 2001
  Manager of Software Development -
    Responsible for development of C++ Windows products, primarily multi-user
retail accounting systems and dial-up credit card processing. Managed a team
consisting of 2 additional C++ programmers in the evolution and maintenance of
the ADS software products. Worked closely with sales and support personnel in
resolving customer problems, and in providing forward-thinking solutions to new
software product development.

County of Roanoke, VA - 1997 to 1999
  Network Engineer / Administrator -
    Worked in MIS department answering to Director of MIS.  Maintained all
network and server hardware, software, as well as the Novell Directory Services
for the county wide area network.  Responsible for everything... including tape
backups, 500-user email implementation / administration, all server additions /
upgrades / repairs, and communications setup and wiring for the county.

  Senior Field Service Engineer -
    In Program Management Office (PMO), duties included computer systems spares
analysis for USAF contracts worldwide, and minicomputer refurbishment /
redeployment.

  Site Technical Support Engineer -
    For our division's initial effort in IBM system maintenance, maintained IBM
4341-P2 mainframe and 9377 supermini systems on military contract in Heidelberg,
FRG.  In addition, provided support and training to Contel service reps on DEC
PDP / VAX systems.

  Regional Techical Support Engineer for Europe -
    As primary source of technical information within the region, provided
telephone and on-site support toward resolution of computer system problems. 
Also handled a variety of regional administrative duties.

Held TS/SCI security clearance for approx. 8 years.
