audits of existing infrastructure, presented recommendations though effective
presentations, and managed the implementation, thereby giving the customer a
complete solution for various IT projects.

Sales & Marketing - I have also generated sales, created marketing materials
including our web site, and performed project management. See www.ecwest.net for
client, services, and sample project references.

2000 – 2001 Intel Incorporated (OPSD Division) – Software Architect
As a Software Architect, I determined the software direction, architecture, and
roadmap for the OPSD division for a 24 month period and managed each product to
completion.

Software Architect for Express BIOS Update - I managed a team of 6 software
engineers and project managers who were responsible for the development of Web
based Express BIOS Update (EBU) software application which updates a computer
system’s BIOS in 3 mouse clicks. This software was written in C++ as a framework,
NuMega Driver Studio, and InstallShield. We built the application under tight
schedules and an extensive software life cycle which resulted in a quality
product that was given an Intel Divisional Award of Excellence. I decreased
development time of the Windows device drivers by implementing a C++ OOP based
driver framework which pulled in the driver development time by 3 months and also
introduced the OOP methodology to our staff for development of the C++
application framework where we completed the framework inside a 6 month delivery
schedule. This application is available world wide for all desktop motherboards
that Intel sells.

Software Architect for BIOS Customization Kit - I managed a team of 8 software
engineers and project managers who were responsible for the development of
Windows and DOS based BIOS OEM Customization Kit (BOCK) utility to allow OEMs to
customize and build systems in an automated fashion on the manufacturing floor.
This system allows a OEM to customize the motherboard firmware and SMBIOS
information through a Windows based GUI application that then writes automation
scripts to a disk. This software was written in C++, Assembly, NuMega Driver
Studio, and InstallShield.

Software Architect for Express Driver Update - I managed a team of 5 software
engineers and project managers who were responsible for the development of
Windows based Express Driver Update (EDU) utility to allow updated
drivers/applications to be downloaded from the Internet from within the
Installation CDROM for Intel motherboard software. This application also
required normalizing of a Sequel Database and backend applications to manage the
drivers to the central database. This software was written in C++, ODBC,
Winsock, and InstallShield. The project met all timelines and is currently being
used world wide.

1998 – 1999 RAMWest Incorporated – President / Software Architect
Architect for Intel Service Connect Technology - I managed a team of 6 software
engineers and project managers at Intel Corporation who were responsible for the
development of Windows and DOS based Intel Service Connect Technology (ISCT)
framework that allowed OEM manufactures to remotely troubleshoot Personal
Computers. This framework used a client / server application that was hooked
into the Intel system BIOS where the OEM could remotely repair the pc for DOS or
windows problems. The framework was build with the Microsoft Internet
applications (FTP, PPP), a small TCP/IP & PPP protocol stack, a small BIOS
application, and remote connection software using C/C++. I was responsible for
security plans, Internet Infrastructure, compressing the PPP & TCP/IP protocol
stack into a small memory module that could be placed into the system BIOS, and
the development of the NT server software. The duration for the project was 1
year and the project met all objectives but was not put into service because the
OEM’s were not ready for this type of software.

Software Architect - I managed a team of 5 software engineers and project
managers who were responsible for the development of Windows and Unix multiple
tier framework called SmartEntry which processed Online automotive Insurance
claims. This system used 3 tiers on the backend which tied into a Progress
database using ODBC calls. The client system of the system used 2 tiers where
the client system could be used in a networked environment where multiple clients
could process request or on an individual computer using the Internet as the
transport. The investigation, design, architecture, implementation and
maintenance were done by myself with ADP reviewing all designs, specifications
and coding. ADP was trained on the application once it was completed so that
they could maintain the application in house. This application is currently
being used by ADP throughout North America and was given an excellence award for
being a quality product.

Architect for Email Notification and Retrieval - I managed a team of 3 software
engineers and project managers who were responsible for the development of
Windows based application that notified and automatically retrieved email at
specified intervals call Intel Email notification and retrieval. This
application used the system tray, task manager, and hidden windows to allow the
user to retrieve their email from a dialup Internet Service Provider. The
application was written in C++ and Installshield and was built in time under
tight timelines.

In addition to the above items, I have also acted in management and client
services for several companies where I have generated sales, created marketing
materials including our web site, and performed project management.

1997 – May 1998	Claremont Technology Group Inc. – Technical Architect
QA Manager for Java Framework - I managed a team of 5 software engineers,
project managers, and application managers who were responsible for the testing
and documentation of an OOP Java framework used for Claremont’s Internet based
clients. This system used the latest design patterns and servlets to process
Internet client requests requiring distributed tiers. The framework used a JDBC
connection to an Oracle database and allowed distributed applications to be
developed in minimal time. I was responsible to design, architecture and
implement Java based applications which tested the various aspects of the
framework using automated scripts for building and source control. The test
applications were written in Java 1.1 and controlled by scripting languages on a
Sun UNIX system with MKS tracking software to control source.

Technical Architect - Designed and implemented an enterprise Internet
infrastructure involving, network layout (bastion network, routing,
configuration, and firewall), service offerings (www, ftp, telnet, mail, etc.),
proxy and restricted services, security plan, supplemental applications (mail
virus detection, DNS, network management, etc), and audit of existing services
and systems.

1995 – 1997	CFI ProServices Inc. – Senior Software Engineer
Architect for Electronic Professional Banking System - I managed a team of 10
software engineers, QA managers, and project managers who were responsible for
the development of a Dialup Online banking system called Personal Branch Online
Banking System. This system allowed bank customers to get online information
about their accounts and loans from a dialup or Internet connection. This system
was written in C and C++ and used an internal database to manage accounts. Part
of this system required building a Software development kit to be used by large
banks to allow a different application GUI to be used by the bank. I created a
new Electronic Online banking (EPBI) messaging specification, and designed,
specified, implemented and tested a portable object based software SDK. This SDK
contains an object repository in-memory database for accessing objects (accounts,
addresses, names, etc) from the Personal Branch Banking Server. The SDK has been
ported to HPUX 9.0/10.0, NCR, IBM RS6000, SUN, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows
NT, and OS2 using a single source code base. I worked with leading vendors to
allow this new interface to integrate with Microsoft Money Online payment
interface (Open Financial Connectively OFC) and the Check free processing center.
