Overview:
Design and development of the CAPS upgrade project on the OACCESS application.
This application is used throughout the state of Oregon to provide health
benefits and services to seniors with disabilities. The upgrade project
included, among other things, a wizard window that dynamically displays questions
based on answers from previous questions to determine the level of eligibility
the client will obtain.
Also developed various tools and functions to be used by administrators to
manage highly sensitive areas of the OACCESS application and database, created
object level security, and created various reports and forms.

Senior Software Engineer/Database Developer Contract at the Washington
Department of Health through AETEA, Inc.
Overview:
Design and development of various applications used to support the WIC
department at the Department of Health. These applications are used to track and
process benefits for struggling parents who need assistance from the state.
Created an application used to encrypt sensitive data in databases so that they
may be taken off site for development at home.
Also created a secure ASP based site for reports used by departments throughout
Washington, a banking management system to process, analyze, and track WIC check
financial transactions, and redesigned a check management system to allow for
more efficient investigating of financial anomalies.

Overview:
Design and development of the Transmission & Generation Interchange Schedules
(TGIS) application/database. This is a system that handles electricity sales and
usage across power plants and transmission lines. Created dynamic datawindows
for variable result sets from database along with a process that compresses and
stores/restores exported PSR reports. Also created a dynamic treeview used to
navigate the majority of the application.

Overview:
Re-engineered and maintained the Land Administration Management System (LAMS) -
LAMS is an application/database that is used to keep track of property
information for Phelps Dodge. The system also keeps a general ledger and tracks
legal contracts with counties throughout the U.S. Re-wrote the application into
a fully functional secure enterprise application from a completely non-working
state.
Maintained the Capital Appropriations Consolidation System (CACS) - CACS is an
application/database that is used to forecast budgets for proposed projects. The
system tracks paper trails for projects in the budget approval process and is set
up to track over many years.
Maintained the Exploration Operations Data Consolidation System (EODC) - EODC is
an application/database that keeps track of results when the Phelps Dodge
exploration team goes out to sites and drills for core samples for copper mining.
The system tracks the location, the success, and the budgeted amount for
drilling.
Maintained the Phelps Dodge Order Entry System (PDOE) PDOE is an
application/database used to keep track of copper sales, inventory, and
transportation methods/schedules for the PD mines and the purchasing customers.
Created interactive web site using ASP for surveys within the corporation.
These web pages were secure and connected to a SQL Server 2000 database.

SA/DBA/Database Developer/Software Engineer Acxiom
Overview:
Created and maintained the MBNA Job Tracking System (JTS). The JTS is an
application/database that tracks the progression of jobs through data comparison
processes and is used by approximately 70 associates. Also implemented trend
analysis systems, sizable reports and graphs, and a billing system that processes
revenue at a multi-million dollar level. The JTS has been responsible for
eliminating the need for working overtime hours within the team.
Designed and implemented a new Dell server and successfully migrated the JTS
database over to the new server.
Created the PDO (Paid Days Off) Tracking System. This system is used to submit
any leave of absences. This application/database also keeps accurate balances of
all time accumulated and time taken off. This was used by approximately 200
associates.
