October 1996 – Present	
Kaiser Permanente - Lead programmer/analyst, Project Lead. 
Project Lead for new development and enhancements to the Qcare claims system. 
Responsible for a team of 12 programmer/analysts.
Expertise in all of Kaiser’s mainframe tools including Cobol, DB2, QMF,
Changeman, Smartest, Vsam, Librarian, Jobtrac, and Fileaid for DB2.

October 1995 - June 1996	
Nike - Senior Programmer/analyst. Contractor, employed by Pro/DX.
Responsible for analysis, design and coding for enhancements to the Apparel
Warehouse systems. Coding was done with CSP accessing DB2 databases.

March 1993 - June 1995	
Kaiser Permanente – Project Lead  (contractor).
Responsible for analysis, design and coding of a large DB2 reporting database
(33 tables).  This was a 6-month project and involved 4 programmers. Also
involved in the design and coding of enhancements to the existing Claims system.


May 1990 - December 1991		
Putnam Mutual Fund Company - Programmer/analyst, project DBA.
Large project doing new development of their Customer Account System. 
Responsible for creating and maintaining the DB2 tables, indexes and Dclgens.
Also coded over 50 DB2 COBOL programs in both CICS and BATCH.  Other tools used
were Intertest, Librarian and Telon. 
				
November 1989 - May 1990		
John Hancock Insurance Company – Lead Programmer/DBA.
Project DBA.  Responsible for leading a team of 5 Programmers in Development of
a Life Insurance policy tracking system.  Duties included designing the Online
Inquiry system and Batch update modules. Served as the project DBA for DB2
design, data normalization, DDL and implementation.  Taught DB2, SQL, and QMF to
the team members.

 
January 1989 - October 1989		
Equicor Insurance - Development Center Consultant for Telon and DB2
Responsible for maintaining the development environment, education of the
development staff and providing ongoing help to the programming staff.  Taught
DB2, SQL, QMF and CICS techniques.	
		
November 1982 - November 1988	
Pansophic Systems Inc. - Senior Systems Consultant
Client consulting and training. Product installation and implementation.
Supported Telon in all IBM online environments. Supported Easytrieve Plus,
Panvalet and Gener/ol. Helped in the development of the SQL generator for Telon
in 1986.

for IBM mainframe programmers.
