I am a highly motivated and mechanically inclined technician with experience in
a wide variety of skills related to the gas turbine field. My experience in the
U.S. Navy has led me to be very punctual and self motivated when it comes to
accomplishing the tasks at hand. I work well with others, have great
communication skills, and take great pride in my ability to interpret and put
into practice maintenance actions defined in a multitude of different types of
technical documentation. I fully understand and put in to practice the concept of
diligence when it comes to monitoring and performing maintenance on any power
plant, whether it be propulsion or electrical generation. Overall I feel I am
capable of proving that I would be great addition to any company that utilizes
gas turbine technology.

I am skilled the in calibration, verification of proper operation, and
corrective action of a variety of indicating equipment such as: Simplex Pressure
and Vacuum Gages, Duplex Pressure and Vacuum Gages, Differential Pressure and
Vacuum Gages, Temperature Gages, Pressure Switches, Vacuum Switches, Differential
Pressure Switches, Temperature Switches, and Torque Wrenches

I have a thorough knowledge of the proper use and care of basic hand tools,
power operated tools (pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric) and quality assurance
standards such as torque wrenches and precision measurement equipment.

I am experienced in monitoring power plant operating conditions utilizing
indicating equipment such as gages, temperature and pressure transducers, as well
as HMI monitoring and operating screens for normal operation and abnormal
operating conditions.

I am experienced in casualty control procedures for plant casualties and
abnormal operating conditions. I'm very receptive to committing immediate
casualty control actions to memory, and utilizing technical documentation to
troubleshoot and conduct repair action to return equipment to normal operating
efficiency.

I'm familiar with the use of computer based logistics support programs to
procure repair and preventative maintenance parts and conduct inventory of parts
on hand. I'm also very proficient at interpreting technical documents and
drawings to properly determine which parts need to be ordered for casualty
repairs and stored on hand for preventative maintenance.

I'm familiar with the operation and troubleshooting of installed and portable
firefighting equipment such as fixed CO2/Halon flooding systems, portable fire
extinguishers, fixed fire extinguishing systems, firefighting personal protective
equipment and emergency escape equipment. I also have experience with gas
analysis to ensure post-casualty areas and enclosed spaces are safe for
personnel. I'm proficient in utilizing personal protective equipment such as
respirators, self contained breathing apparatuses, chemical gloves, goggles,
aprons, face shields, fire retardant gloves, hearing protection, and steel toed
shoes. When in a working environment I prefer to dress in a fashion that
minimizes the chances of personal injury, entanglement, and foreign object damage
to equipment.
