Company: Found suitable offices, negotiated lease terms, furnished and staffed
the facility. Trained personnel on their respective functions. Accomplished the
assignment 3 months earlier than requested, which permitted Operations to begin
earlier and generate revenues and customer relationships earlier.
§ Within 6 months of launch, established as the premier company in MA:
Established relationships with Physicians (Oncologists, Dermatologists,
Podiatrists, and Vascular Surgeons) in Hospitals, Cancer Centers and Private
Practices to introduce services and medical device modalities.. Hired and
trained sales reps and nurses to cover the territory. Established a reputation
as a valuable resource with expertise, products and services for patients with
certain chronic conditions.
§ Increased revenues 60% by increasing patient usage and satisfaction: Retained
and trained independent home health care subcontractor nurses to train and
monitor patient usage and satisfaction. Also, increased the satisfaction of the
Physician referral sources and their motivation to prescribe the devices for
additional patients.
§ Increased revenues 50% above forecast by increasing the geographic coverage
beyond the Boston area: Determined the demographics to best penetrate. Hired and
trained personnel to educate the Physician community increasing the population
prescribing the products.
§ Reduced by over 30 % concerned patient calls: Researched, designed,
developed, tested efficacy of Sales and Training materials for each target
audience (Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Patients, Sales Consultants and
Patient Support Personnel). As a result, patients were more effective in their
usage of the devices.
§ Expanded marketing efforts to include professional trade shows and
conferences, in addition to direct customer contacts: Researched the appropriate
conferences and trade shows where target audiences could be approached. Designed
