My situation allows me to be flexible in availability as well as working either
in a Consulting or a permanent position. I have my own benefits.

I recently completed my second Telecommuting project. I continue to be on-call
for this position for Dr Renzi I have a fully functional home office and am very
disciplined working at home. I have taught myself SPSS for this recent project
and am willing to learn any languages needed for a project. My first
Telecommuting project was with Verizon Corp. and that was connecting to 3 of
their mainframes. My Resume will show that I have a long history of learning and
becoming proficient in software languages.
I have over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry specializing in
Financial and Human Resource systems. I have been the Primary Analyst responsible
for the payroll system of a Fortune 500 company. As well as many years experience
in their Human Resource systems. I have strong Financial and Human Resource
business skills. Functioned as the main contact for various levels of business
management who used many of these computer systems. Additionally, I have
completed a number of consulting projects that are described in my Resume.

Dr. Ronald Renzi (2006 to present)
Consultant-Database Developer
This Telecommuting project required learning the Healthcare Cost and Utilization
Project data (HCUP) and the State Inpatient Databases (SID) as it pertains to Dr
Renzi’s medical research. After careful review I recommended to Dr Renzi to
purchase SPSS software. There is over 10 years of HCUP data. I built this system
at home on my PC writing some customized programs in SPSS. The database is in a
SAS/SPSS format. I then installed SPSS on his machine and trained the Doctor to
be able to run his own inquiries, reports and graphs for purposes of his research
projects for Abington Hospital.
Pinnacle Consulting Services (2005 to 2006)
Consultant- Sr. Programmer/Analyst
Completed tasks for the Winback project of Verizon Corporation Marketing
Division. They included developing new programs and modifying existing ones to
maintain all the Marketing DB2 databases. All work was done on their 3
mainframes. This assignment was a Telecommuting assignment and all worked was
completed with a high speed secured cable connection and a fully equipped
environment for working at home. The skills used were Cobol, DB2 SQL, Focus and
all the mainframe environment tools; TSO ISPF, IBM utilities, OS JCL and a deep
understanding of the SYNCSORT utility.
Villages Of Flowers Mills (2003 to 2004)
Consultant- Web Master
Developed and maintained the Web site (VOFM55) for the Villages at Flowers
Mills. This is a very active retirement community with clubhouse facilities that
allowed installing and supporting 2 PC’s in their library. Also developing a
fairly large Web site using FrontPage. I then supported this site as Web Master
for 2 years. I also provided basic computer training for all residents that were
interested.
Judge Technical Services (2001 to 2002)

Completed tasks associated with the HIPAA compliance project at Quest
Diagnostics. These tasks
Consisted of interviewing the Business users to determine how the 276, 277 and

Transactions will be used. It also required a major review of their
Billing/Remittance system, to
Determined how many mainframe programs (Cobol/CICS), PROCS, Files etc. needed to
be changed.

GlaxoSmithKline (1978 to 2001)
Senior Programmer/Analyst
Provided both analytical and technical support to complete Human Resource
projects:
Agency Temps, Deferred Compensation, Corporate Benefits administration, STD
online tracking and EEO reporting. These were in addition to all the normal
demographic Reporting completed in
HRIS. Maintained an excellent working relationship with HRIS, programming and
data center groups.
* Completed special projects for Senior Management for highly
sensitive projects.
* Designed and developed FOCUS/TSO online interactive systems. These multi-user
online Database systems allowed customers to maintain data for the systems
mentioned above.
* Developed and maintained Cobol programs to convert data from the main DB2
VSAM databases to be used in the reporting area. Responsible for all Cobol
programming support for HRIS.
* Designed and developed “HR Reporting End-User” environment, an online FOCUS
reporting system that provided timely and secured information to over 300 Human
Resource users.
* Approximately 20,000 report requests done annually from a selection of over
150 types of reports.
* Allowed users to change criteria on report requests. This customized to
their need without programmer assistance.
* Created and implemented a Download feature for the reporting environment.
This allowed users to import documents into Excel, Access, Email or any other PC
tools.
* Recommended and implemented Auditing feature on all reporting systems.
* Technical liaison for HRIS, helped certify the FOCUS software for Y2K
compliance. Worked with systems programming installing new releases of FOCUS.
Completed all OS/MVS JCL and
all documentation to place jobs into production at data center. Primary contact
for all mainframe trouble-shooting.
* Primary Analyst for Payroll System, Pension, Stock Options, Salary Forecast
systems. Primary responsibility for maintaining programming accuracy of these
systems for the entire Corporation for over 5 years. As well as the
responsibility for other Analysts work assignments. Functioned as the main
contact for the Payroll Manager, Pension and Budget managers to complete any
system
enhancements they needed The payroll system was a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly
payment system.
* Developed a Payroll Earnings/Taxes/Deductions reporting database, which gave
the payroll department greater flexibility for doing timely and accurate
reporting. This was an IMS Hierarchical database and IMS/DL1 was used to extract
data for reporting purposes.
* Participated on the development of a new Pension system and when completed
maintained that system along with the other systems I was responsible for. This
was a Cobol/ CICS online
system used by both the payroll and Pension departments.
* Implemented sub-systems using Access on SB Desktop. Systems provided Payroll
data to General Ledger and other systems.
