Spent half a day each week on help desk duty which consisted of helping internal
users with various problems mostly involving database, login, and reporting
problems and questions.

Developed, enhanced, and supported a web based Cognos Upfront system. This
included developing and maintaining Powerplay models and cubes. It also included
using XML and HTML, as well as writing macros and VB code to automate the
maintenance of Cognos Access Manager data stores and Cognos Impromptu catalogs.
Also developed, enhanced, and supported Windows based Cognos Powerplay models,
cubes, reports, and macros.
Enhanced and made bug fixes to a CRM client/server front end written in embedded
VB and SQL Server for CE.
Was part of the team that designed, developed, and supported a Windows based CRM
client/server front end known as Fastrack. It was written using VB 6.0 and Access
2000. I wrote extensive parts of the VB and SQL code. It was a replacement for a
16 bit configurable version of Fastrack which I had been supporting and
maintaining up to that point.
Supported and enhanced both the front and back ends of a CRM client/server
application called ISIS. The back end consisted of Perl, C and Sybase SQL running
under Unix. The front end was written in C under MS-DOS. I supported this system
until it was retired in 1998.

Keystone Computer Associates, Inc., Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
Worked as part of a GE team to develop a satellite ground station for NASA.
Responsibilities included working in the design, coding, and testing phases of
the project. The code was developed on VAX 6300 series mainframes running VMS
5.1. It was written in Ada and compiled with the VAX Ada Compiler version 2.1.
Provided support to the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) by designing and
implementing changes to its Software Problem Reporting (SPR) system. This system
ran on a VAX 11/785 computer system under Unix and was written in C. Also
developed and maintained programs for use in their VP-PGC lab. These programs
were written in C under Unix and in Dbase and Microsoft Chart under MS-DOS.
Worked at Unisys on a project team maintaining and enhancing the Unisys
OFIS-LINK system, a PC-based office automation application. Designed and
implemented changes to support the use of a 132 column display mode. Also,
diagnosed and corrected user reported problems. OFIS-LINK ran in an MS-DOS
environment and was coded in C.
Performed various other tasks working with various tools including Dbase III
Plus, Clipper, and BASIC in an MS-DOS environment.
