managers. Successfully created and delivered VTC Remote Treatment Planning
solution for Proton treatment plans for patients from Walter Reed Army Medical

Network Engineer/LAN Administrator, Department of Radiation Oncology
7/24/365 responsibility for overall operation of all aspects of the information
technology infrastructure including: administration, maintenance, upgrade,
design, security, HIPAA and support of the Wide-Area, Local Area and Video
Teleconferencing networks, with about 450 users. Remote WAN connected clinics are
located in Pennsylvania Hospital, CHS Trenton, NJ, Chester County Hospital, West
Chester, PA, CHS Phoenixville, PA, Chestnut Hill Hospital, Chestnut Hill PA,
Veterans Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, and Holy Redeemer Hospital, Abington, PA.
The six oncology facilities treat over 250 patients in total each weekday. Two
biomedical research labs which are located on campus are also supported.
 * Lead IT Project Manager for construction of the Penn Chestnut Hill Radiation
Oncology (RADONC) clinic. The project involved interaction with multiple project
groups including: builders, architects, physicians, accounting, IT departments,
Chestnut Hill Radiology PACS administrator, Radiation Oncology equipment vendors,
Chestnut Hill Oncology groups, physicians, electricians, cable installers,
physicists and many more. The project was under a tight deadline and all facets
of the project were delivered on time and on budget.
 * Lead IT Project Manager for delivery of multipoint video teleconferencing
(VTC) for RADONC. Provided

 * VTC infrastructure that enable personnel at remote clinics to electronically
participate in meetings, lectures, seminars, and patient chart-rounds etc. from
the desktop. The project recouped hundreds of the most costly hours of lost
productivity and enabled the expansion of the Residents Program to include remote
clinics. The project was completed on time and on budget and includes over 35
endpoints.

 * Lead IT Project Manager for delivery of a Remote Treatment Planning (RTP)
solution. Provided a RTP solution that enabled clinicians at Walter Reed Army
Medical Center (WRAMC) to collaborate with clinicians at Penn's Proton Radiation
Treatment facility for purpose of reviewing patient case data including CT images
and other diagnostics. The WRAMC patients will be sent to Penn for Proton
therapy. Use off- the-shelf VTC equipment and integrate it with existing VTC
infrastructure. The project was successfully completed and delivered and given
high marks by clinicians from both organizations.
 * Lead IT Project Construction Manager for Pearlman Center for Advanced
Medicine (PCAM). Provided IT support and consulting for all facets of
construction of new PCAM which housed conventional as well as a state-of-the-art
Proton Treatment facility, one of only five in the country. Planned and provided
all IT related functionality necessary to open and run a high tech Radiation
Oncology treatment facility. Project was completed on time and clinic was
successfully opened for business.
 * Upgraded legacy 10 MB unswitched/unmanaged network to a Category 6, Gigabit
speed and switched environment.
 * Created and implemented business continuity plan and disaster recovery plan
for mission critical network components that reduced downtime in event of
failure.
 * Improve overall clinical operation and maximize support with the design and
deployment of an automated help desk system. Log and track all support related
issues and route them to the appropriate support personnel. Direct, mange and
support all IT related personnel.
 * Upgraded Microsoft Mail and Mac server email environment to an integrated
Microsoft Exchange email system. Provided access to email via the Internet.
 * Designed and deployed cost effective email gateway to secure and filter spam
and viruses from incoming email. Used cost effective Cisco routers with firewall
to secure network resources and control remote access to the network. Designed
and implemented cost effective VPN infrastructure for remote access to network
resources.
 * Designed and implemented cost effective, dependable tape backup system.
 * Designed, deployed and implemented teleconferencing and telemedicine
infrastructure. Reduced physician travel and enabled remote consultation and
review of patient medical records.
 * Upgraded Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Domain to Active Directory.
 * Designed, implemented and installed teleconferencing facility in existing
conference room. Used streaming media to deliver conferences to department's
