Present	Responsibilities include evaluating and maintaining all aspects of
quality in the hospital setting.  Including monitoring and implementing
regulations as indicated by all regulatory bodies in the hospital setting which
includes, The PA Department of Health, CMS, and The Joint Commission. 
Over-seeing all risk issues, potential or actual, in the hospital system. 
Education of staff regarding regulatory standards, quality issues, and risk
potential.    Responsible for the peer review process for physicians and licensed
independent practitioners.  Acts as a patient/patient family representative to
assist in resolving problems or concerns regarding their hospitalization or
dealing with SRMC’s services or staff.  Investigates patient/family complaints;
meets the needs of patients and families by providing information and services. 


2002-	Director of Resident Assessment, Golden Living Center
2009	Duties include coordinating patient assessments according to Federal and
State guidelines for the long-term care facility.  Scheduling assessments and
ensuring completion by deadline.  Completing patient MDS (Minimum Data Set), RAP
summary and care plans.  Responsible for monitoring CMS quality measures monthly
for each resident and developing an action plan to ensure quality of care. 
Responsible for maintenance of case mix index (driving reimbursement) for each
resident.  Management of skilled needs of residents by working with insurance
companies to ensure appropriate reimbursement.  Working closely with residents
and family members, as well as the residents’ physicians, to develop a
multi-disciplinary care plan to meet each resident’s needs.

2001-2002    Coordinator/RN,  TRIPIL Services
	Working with and at the direction of the client to identify, coordinate and
facilitate waiver services, state plan services and other needed medical, social
and educational services.  Ongoing monitoring of services included in client’s
plan of care.  Supervision of clients’ personal care attendants.  Responsible for
staff training - monthly in-services.  Development of policy and procedure. 
Coordinator of Aging Services Program - responsible for all aspects of program
including budget, billing, coordination of services and supervision of direct
care workers.

1997-1998	Home Health Staff RN,  Doctor’s Home Health
Duties included daily evaluation and care of homebound patients.  Specifically,
monitoring patient progress, creating appropriate care plan for patients,
evaluating need for change in plan of care, working with health care team and
physicians to achieve patient goals.

Duties included daily evaluation and counseling of patients, injection therapy
and monitoring of patient progress, evaluation of patient progress and working
with other RN’s and physicians to meet patient goals.
