Title: Supply Chain Manager
Managed the supply chain function for the demand planning and procurement of a
company with 130 million in sales, had 6 employees reporting to me, managing a
diversified customer base and with 90 % percent of the supplier base located in
the far east.
Direct responsibility for demand planning ,sales and operations planning,
procurement, and inventory for juvenile products which developed and executed the
procurement plan. Developed a Sales and Operations Planning process which
improved accuracy of the forecast which decreased inventory levels by 15% and
increased on time delivery to 95+%.
Lead a management team which developed and implemented a formal planning and
procurement system (Demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning) as the
company experience growth from 77 million dollars in 2007 to 131 million in 2008.
Also implemented a new product demand planning and product procurement process
which identified the sales trends to quickly react to the changes in the demand
for products in the market place. This resulted in an increase delivery of
products which exceeded forecast and limited inventory exposure to products that
didn 't sell to anticipated demand.

Direct responsibility for demand management and forecasting, master planning,
customer service, and finished goods inventory levels for microelectronic resist
chemicals. Developing the production plan for the positive resist product line,
calculating requirements for manufacturing, reviewing customer demand, and
managing required inventory levels. Effectively managing the balance of supply
and demand including Europe and Asia.
Team Leader for implementation of the Sales and Operations Planning process
which established a formal process for managing change in product demand.
Improving the performance of the forecasting system and the communication between
the functional departments. This has provided a valuable tool for management in
long term sales planning, capacity planning, and reducing inventory investment of
finished goods.
Team member of the SAP MRP implementation for microelectronics,
introducing the concept of master scheduling to Arch Chemicals. Providing on site
training in all areas of formal production planning. This project was completed
on time and within budget resulting in a schedule performance of 95%, with a
reduction of inventory by 35 % and on time delivery to customers to 98%.

Title: Master Scheduler
Direct responsibility for master planning, distribution planning, customer
service, purchasing finished goods, production services, and inventory objectives
for North America 's Fasteners production.
Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with respect to material and capacity
availability and order promising integrity. I master scheduled 4 plants in North
America representing 30 % of Fastener Systems sales.
Implemented a materials planning systems for all nail manufacturing for four
manufacturing facilities in North America, resulting in a decrease of inventory
by 35% and an increase in customer fill rates to 95%+.
Create and maintain a valid master production schedule for material and
capacities by effectively balancing supply and demand for all fasteners. Various
assignments have included the opening and closing of manufacturing facilities.

Direct responsibility for master planning, plant logistics, documentation
control and manufacturing systems support.
Develop the master schedule for the Neponset manufacturing plant which is a high
volume and multi-product, made to order operation with multiple manufacturing
locations. Interfaced with marketing and sales in developing the business and
production plan.
Team leader for operations task team in implementation of new HPMM 3000
manufacturing planning and control system.
Developed all planning procedures for Neponset plant which is ISO900 approved.
Worked on the project team responsible for the implementation of JIT Principles
within the manufacturing plant and at suppliers.

Direct responsibility for purchasing, material planning, production control,
inventory management and traffic.
Team member for implementation of contract management system for aerospace and
defense contractors utilizing Western Data Systems software. Direct management of
computerized system which decreased inventory by 15% and increased on time
delivery to 100%.
Negotiated through contract and blanket orders reductions in purchase prices of
key raw materials.
Implemented inventory management techniques which improved inventory accuracy to
100% for all A items and 90% for all others.

Past Member of the Board of Directors of the Worcester County Chapter of The
American Production and Inventory Control Society serving for 15 years. Past
President 1993.
In 1990, I chaired the committee that started a Bachelors Degree in Business
Administration with a specialization in Materials Management at Nichols College,
Dudley, Ma.
Pat member of the Nichols College Materials Management Steering Committee
reporting to the Dean of Academic Affairs which established the policies and
curriculum for the Materials Management program.
Currently an instructor for the Workshop Programs offered by APICS and a member
of the Nichols College faculty staff. I have over 25 years teaching experience.
