Data was sent from the mainframe with FTP to the Unix box for further
processing. NDM was used on the very large files that had to be loaded into
Sybase 
Used FTP to move files between other Unix boxes.

SQL
Trained by the top DBA at Chrysler to create effective and efficient SQL  's, to
create the best possible unique cluster index on tables, based on how the data
was to be used, and to create as many secondary indexes as needed to meet system
and user needs.
Utilized advanced SQL to produce files that were sent to the Unix environment to
become either input that was manipulated in Sybase stored procedures or databases
used in the data warehouse.
Application DBA for 8 years (all new tables or changes to existing tables had to
be approved by me before they could go to the DBA group for processing.)
Designed, developed and tuned Sybase tables.
Developed applications that communicate with Sybase tables.
Monitored Sybase job from SQL, Also used raw SQL to create SQL code.
