Manage the site’s production planning and scheduling process in the most
cost-effective way while satisfying customer requirements of over 25 million
pounds of various products monthly. Monitor actual shipments vs. projected to
ensure adequate inventory. Manage all fleet movement (over 300 railcars) for
customer shipments (ex. Returning empties, cars ID’d for repairs, scheduled
washes of new cars, etc.) Manage fleet’s use of available track space on site and
at local yard. Primary point of contact with CSX for all site rail activity.
Performs month-end accounting including obtaining physical inventories as
required, resolving physical vs. SAP inventories, close out process order, and
execute material transfer. Provide month-end production/shipment/inventory data
to Asset Planner Resolve conflicts on transfer records and get SAP corrected.
Primary point of contact for all rail logistics.

Responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling and recognizing individual and
group volunteers so they are ready to work with the warehouse and office staff.
Assists in recruiting new agencies, monitoring and visiting new and existing
agencies, and
building a network of cooperation in communities we serve. Monitor existing
Kid’s Cafes and work with staff to establish new Kid’s Cafes in the ten counties
we serve, working closely with local schools, non-profits and agencies to help
establish and fund these facilities. Work with Clemson Extension Service to
maintain and expand our present gleaning program and to create new fresh produce
initiatives with distributors in our area. Represents the Lowcountry Food Bank at
public gatherings, meetings and special events as needed when the Executive
Director is not available and increase the visibility of the Lowcountry Food Bank
in the local communities and to help with team building to make feeding the
hungry more efficient and effective.

over 3500 export container loads weekly from origin to the seven vessel strings
in the port of Charleston. Identified and analyzed trends. Communicated daily

Met all performance objectives for a two-year period in the job;
achieved greater than 95% on time performance of all
shipments (3500 weekly).
Performed as Interim Operations Manager in Atlanta responsible for the
entire Georgia Inland dispatch operation ensuring location performance for a
