EXPERIENCE
Software Engineer, Project Solutions, Rapid City, SD (2008)
Developed database software in C# and MySQL that interacts with remote display
systems and generates customer service reports.
PROJECTS
“Remote Display Systems”
Developed a C# application that accesses remote display systems and records run
time information. It then integrates that information into a customer service
report that can be used by Project Solutions to validate advertising periods.
"Database Management"
Created a database relational schema for a video store rental system that tracks
the flow of videos in and out of the store. The project was then implemented in
MySQL and a Visual Basic GUI was used to modify the contents and automatically
update dependent information.
"Online Flowers"
Team leader of a senior design project to develop interactive flowers that
appear on a user's desktop. This project utilized all of the phases of the
software development life cycle. First, we consulted our customer to determine
his needs. Second, we explicitly established all of the key components of the
project and put them in a design document. Finally, we created a rigorous
schedule with a set of deadlines. By using the Blender suit of animation
development tools we were able to develop a model of three-dimensional rainbow
colored roses and then integrate them into a Windows C# application. (team
project)
