MTD Inc. Job Title - Systems Manager. Responsible for all computer
operations in two plants in West Tennessee (80 end-users) Both plants are MAPICS
shops. Have experience with bar-coding, and I have written many bridge programs
to interface with MAPICS. Very proficient with PC Support and most of the major
products for the PC (DOS applications as well as Windows). Very proficient with
Operations within the AS400 such as Communications, Configuration, Security,
Disaster recovery and Backup frequency. AS400 programming skills include Control
Language , Screen Design Aid, Sub-File Programming within AS400 RPG, use of
externally described files and printer files within AS400 RPG, but have
experience programming in Pascal, COBOL, Basic, and Assembler Language. From Oct
1993 through Jan 1994 successfully converted both facilities completely from the
System 36 to Native AS400 code. Also was instrumental in converting the two MTD
plants in Mississippi.
