Information Systems Analyst 3 – TN Department of Correction / MIS SDS

May 2007 – Present:  Responsible for systems security access involving creating,
modifying and revoking RACF IDs and staff IDs on (e)TOMIS (electronic Tennessee
Offender Management Information System).  Under general supervision, responsible
for professional information systems analytical work of considerable difficulty
analyzing various complex administrative, reporting, and statistical systems and
development of methods for adapting these systems to electronic data processing.
  
Information Systems Analyst 2 – TN Department of Transportation / GIS TRIMS
Support Section

March 2006 – May 2007:  Assist in developing systems analysis packages;
interview line personnel and review existing documentation to acquire information
about work requirements; write detail requirements for system/program
modifications or enhancements.  Customize, test, and write technical
documentation.  Train support staff and end users on installation and use of
hardware/software products.  Provide technical support to TDOT and other federal,
state, or local agencies on proper utilization of software and hardware. 
Accepted promotion to position in Tennessee Department of Correction.

Independent Contractor

2002 - 2006:  Worked several contract positions with technical contractors such
as TEKSystems and Manpower involving computer hardware/software support and
upgrade projects of varying length.  Projects included assignments involving PC
replacements, hardware/software upgrades, software development and customization,
PC inventory management, PC imaging (GHOST), and troubleshooting.

Administrative Assistant – Heritage Financial Group, LLC

January 2001 to May 2002:  Part-time position to Rick Dunn, insurance agent,
involving administrative, secretarial, and computer programming and support
responsibilities. Created and modified database reports and forms.  Laid off from
position due to work slowdown.

Systems Analyst – Bass, Berry and Sims PLC

Information Technology Department – June 1999 to September 2000:  Provided 2nd
level on-site and remote technical hardware/software support to law firm in
Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville.  Developed and supported in-house
applications.  Resigned from position to spend time at home.

Distributed Computer Systems Analyst – State of Florida Department of Insurance

Application Engineering – December 1997 to April 1998:  Reassigned to AE section
due to internal reorganization.  Resigned to accept new position  in Tennessee.

Network Administration – December 1996 to December 1997:  Designed, developed,
tested, implemented and documented network applications in Lotus Notes platform. 
Managed Lotus Notes server integration with Banyan Vines email and Microsoft NT. 
Performed administrative duties associated with Lotus Notes mail system and
certification process.  Worked with Network and Help Desk staff to integrate new
desktop and server software with existing hardware and software.   Assisted
Network staff with day-to-day operations.  Developed and managed Lotus Notes

complex technical hardware, software, and telecommunication problems.  Installed
hardware and software on site and remotely.  Developed hardware, software, and

established Department standards. Position reorganized into Network
Administration section.

Systems Manager – West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging

Independent Contractor – April 1994 to January 1995:  Provided LAN
administration, hardware, software support.

Systems Manager – December 1992 to March 1994:  Site managed Agency migration to
15-node OS/2 token ring network.  Liaison with Florida Department of Elder
Affairs as statewide WAN member.  Resolved complex technical hardware, software
and telecommunications problems for Agency and 10 PSA 6 service providers. 
Developed applications using Paradox, Lotus, DOS, and other software.  Developed
CIRTS (Client Information Referral & Tracking System) batch conversion program
used by 10 statewide Area Agencies.
 
Executive Secretary – July 1987 to December 1992:  Supervised three support
staff.  Researched and implemented hardware/software upgrades.  Recommended
changes in maintenance agreements that generated $500+ annual savings for
non-profit Agency.  Position evolved to include LAN administration for Agency’s
Novell Netware Ethernet network in June 1991.  Officially promoted to Systems
Manager in December 1992.
