Software Engineer
Maintain and enhance ASP/VB6 web application, SBDS (Southern Baptist Directory
Service), used to collect ACP (Annual Church Profile), congregational, and
leadership information for all church congregations in the Southern Baptist
Convention. Also created and maintain VB.Net Windows application used to
import/export ACP, congregational, and leadership data via an XML format for
state conventions not using SBDS.
Produce annual statistics for the SBC.
Provide help desk support for the SBDS application.
Technologies include Visual Basic .NET, ASP, Visual Basic 6, MS Access, SQL
Server 2005, and Sybase.
10/2004 to 2/2005 – LGDP c/o Tek Systems Columbia, TN.
Developer
Created new ASP pages for a web based application used by the Tennessee Court
system. Also helped maintain current version of application. This application was
written in ASP with a VB.Net web service. Also developed several sql stored
procedures on a SQL Server 2000 database.

6/2004 to 9/2004 – EMICMG c/o Robert Half Tech. Brentwood, TN.
Developer
Maintained and updated web based Help Desk application. This application was
written in VB.Net/ASP.Net. Updated two different Delphi 6 applications that were
used to fulfill warehouse orders. Was also upgrading a Delphi 6 application to
VB.Net. This application was also being used in a warehouse setting. Developed
several sql stored procedures on SQL Server 2000.

1/2004 to 5/2004 – First Horizon Home Loans c/o Matrix Dallas, Texas
Developer
Created several COM/COM+ components used to process XML messages generated from
a BizTalk server. The components were also used by other applications and
components in the system to read/write data to and from a SQL 2000 server and
compose and send messages to a MSMQ message queue. The components were written
using VB.Net/VB6 and exposed a COM interface as well as a COM+ interface. Also
wrote a VB.Net service for processing an XML file and sending SMTP messages on a
user defined timed basis.

and XML 4.0
9/2002 to 12/2003 – Homecomings Financial c/o Matrix Dallas, Texas
Developer
Created a VB.Net Windows Forms application and a C# ASP.net application, used
to assist in the creation of a data dictionary for an existing loan application
database system. The ASP.Net application was also used to create web-based
reports from the data dictionary. Also created a Windows Service application to
parse an XML document and store the data in a database. The application polls a
shared directory on a Windows 2000 server for an XML file, parses the file, and
then adds it to a Mortgage Flex database. Parts of the data were also added to an
Oracle database. The application was written in VB.Net and uses ADO.Net for data
access.
Technologies include VB.NET, C#, ASP.net, ADO.NET, Oracle 8i, and XML 4.0.
10/2000 to 2/2002 - JC Penney c/o Howard Systems Dallas, Texas

Maintain and enhance the intranet project called JContent and develop web-based
reports using ASP and HTML. JContent is written using Documentum’s Docbasic and
WebQL as well as standard web technologies including ASP, JavaScript and HTML.
Developed SQL 2000 stored procedures and client side SQL statements for data
additions and retrievals.
Web technologies technical resource for the two teams in my group. Reported
directly to Dept. head instead of group leaders.
Technologies include Visual Interdev, Documentum, ASP, VB, VBScript, JavaScript,
HTML, and SQL Server 2000.
4/2000 to 10/2000 – Sabre c/o Maxim Group Dallas, Texas
Developer/Contractor
Maintain and enhance the intranet project called RocWeb. RocWeb was written
using VB Web Classes and is used to track help desk requests for all of Sabre via
the intranet.
Wrote a VB application to process a data file from mainframe and insert
validated records into a SQL Server 7 database using client side SQL statements
in conjunction with server side stored procedures.
Technologies include Visual Basic 6, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, COM, and
SQL Server 7.
7/1996 to 4/2000 – Rush Creek Software Dallas, Texas
Developer
Developer of the infoWEB commercial application suite. InfoWEB is a web-based
report distribution and management system for enterprise networks running Windows
NT Server and IIS.
Developed and maintained the piece of infoWEB called Report Manager. The Report
Manager was developed using Delphi and was used to populate SQL Server 7 or
Access database with rules and guidelines for report distribution.
Wrote SQL Server 7 stored procedures and client side SQL statements for data
addition and retrieval.
Technologies include Delphi, Visual Basic (versions 3, 5, & 6), ASP, VBScript,
JavaScript, HTML/DHTML, COM, MS Access and SQL Server 7.
