Technical Work Experience:
Mobile Comm. Professionals
June 2006 – Dec 2006
Associate RF Engineer
Worked for Cingular and Ericsson.
Job Responsibilities:
- To measure end-to-end network performance from the mobile subscriber's point
of view for specific data service offerings by using standard defined QoS
parameters.
- To measure and analyze network coverage, availability, delay, throughput,
capacity and reliability.
Eclerx Virtual Team
Feb 2005 – July 2005
Analyst
- Verified product categorization and product pricing.
- Ensured that the products and services catalogues were accurate, current and
relevant.
- Headed a team that worked with senior clients to resolve urgent tactical and
strategic issues.
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre
June 2003-May 2003
Intern Trainee
- Worked on a project “89C52 Based Monitoring System for Sputter Ion Pump Power
Supply”.
- Developed a microcontroller based system, which aims at monitoring current,
voltage and pressure at the pump, and displays it on a LCD.
- Microcontrollers were loaded with C subroutine to display parameters of the
Sputter Ion Pump. Proper functioning was ensured by testing and debugging C
programs.
Projects:
• SIP LAB:
- Established a VoIP connection involving SIP and recorded SDP/RTP packets
using packet sniffers such as Ethereal.
• Software Architecture and Design:
- Designed, developed and documented architecture of a system for an insurance
company.
- Use cases, Domain model, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence
Diagrams, Entity Relationship diagram, Network Infrastructure Diagram, Prototypes
were developed.
- Included intensive requirement analysis.
Technical Papers:
• VoIP: Had discussed on how VoIP can be useful in residential purpose today.
• MGCP: Applications and the needs of a Media Gateway Control Protocol were
described in the Paper.
• Bluetooth Security: Presented the various important security threats to
Bluetooth.
• IP- MPLS Based VPNs: The paper describes the two main approaches to
