2005 to Present Kellogg, Brown and Root - Afghanistan
IT network tech II / Communications
Manually installed and serviced all military Giant Voice warning systems for
all hubs/bases in the Afghanistan region to include base stations and permanent
mounted microphone/speaker units which were routed through a control panel back
to the master station.
Provided hands on training of the electronic intercommunications systems to
new technicians in the field.
This training consisted of setting base units which are capable of sending
announcements over the entire system (i.e. public address) to include wiring,
voice signal test and power supply.
Also responsible for set up and testing of digital intercom systems utilizing
CAT5 cable and interfacing this with existing networks as a way to notify distant
personnel/troops.

Installation of single family 1-camera systems up to systems (I.E. Best Buy
mega store installation which consisted of 10 dome PTZ's with network and 10
fixed cameras).
Installation of 42 indoor and outdoor cameras, out of state (Coyote Ugly,
Buffalo Billiards, The Manis Building). Completed project, to include clean up, 9
days before forecasted deadline.
