EXPERIENCE
Ritter Consulting – Principal Consultant Jan 2001 – present
I have owned this company since January of 2001. At times, I work as a 1099 and
at times as a W-2 employee. My preference is to be fulltime at a company where I
can make a difference in the growth of the company. Below are some of the
projects I have consulted on with an emphasis
on helping organizations with no or little process in place to implement the
right amount of process for their business and culture. I did strategic planning
on where they need to be in five years to grow as an organization; both in
process and staffing. I also helped them in planning on required role definitions
to accomplish long term objectives.
Project Manager at Medidata Solutions, Houston, Texas Aug 2007 – Oct 2007
*Review and identify current project methodology. Identify recommended
enhancements.
Implement project management best practices. Design and document the implemented
project processes.
*Establish consolidated Medidata project work schedule and make available on a
share.
Establish a Microsoft Project Server environment with calendaring, project
storage and resource allocation. Establish IT procedures for designing, planning,
and documentation of
projects and help integrate the processes with the Medidata Project Management
staff.
Provide training and consulting. Manage daily resource and project scheduling.
Maintain project schedule, calendar and team documentation.
*Maintain and scan all project documentation for auditing purposes.
Program Manager for Development of Healthcare Cards at Personix June 2007 – Aug
2007
*I worked with the PMO office to add PMP processes to the implementation group
utilizing a tollgate sign-off process and HP Mercury Governance Center. All
projects had Microsoft project schedules loaded into Mercury where time from the
project team could be tracked on
all projects in the enterprise data center to ensure proper resource allocation.
We produced Health Care cards for major insurance carriers, giving the customer a
Web user interface to make small changes on their own.
Program Manager for Monitoring and Enterprise Alerting at Chesapeake Energy Feb
2007 – May 2007
*I put processes and plans in place for the deployment of monitoring projects
using BMC and Alarm Point products across Chesapeake’s Datacenter (including
Enertia, Active Directory, Data Fabric Manager (DFM), Networks, Servers, SCADA
and Data Center). Chesapeake
implemented Cygnet for their SCADA system for instance; I would use BMC
Monitoring to monitor the network devices, all inputs and outputs, and any
processing. I managed the retirement of the previous monitoring and notification
system. I met with teams to make sure we covered all the existing functionality
and maintained the notification elements in the
CMDB. I engaged the training team to set up training for management, users and
new employees.
*I created program and project management documentation on our share point site
and hosted a steering committee of representatives across the organization to
validate the prioritization of bringing new applications under the monitoring
umbrella. I created Microsoft
Project Server schedules for implantation of fist projects and a roadmap for
2007. I established contact with BMC representatives to engage them in a health
check of our system to ensure maximum ROI and to arrange for Web Demos of their
latest technologies.
Technical Product Management Consultant for SMA, Kingwood, Texas June 2005 –
