Human Resource Generalist 
Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities include: Handle all new hires
including all new hire paperwork, safety orientation and drug screening as well
as inputting their information into the payroll system.  Handle all medical,
dental and life benefits for employees as well as send off information to Cobra
third party for terminated employees, enter all insurance participants and keep
track of insurance spreadsheet as well as reviewing monthly statements from
insurance company. Create Census of medical and dental insurance for annual
renewals. Enter all pay rate increases and terminations into the payroll system.
Order and hand out all PPE to new hires, as well as employees with damaged PPE. 
Order all shirts and jackets and all other logoed items. Set up and maintain all
employee’s personnel and medical files. Keep all new hire packets printed and up
to date. Handle all employee verifications, unemployment claims, and letters for
employee verification.  Handle signing up all employees for any continuing
education courses, including, but not limited to CEF and seminars.  Enter direct
deposit information into the payroll system.  Do all ordering, set up and take
down of annual employee Christmas Party.
Payroll Responsibilities include: 
Organize and calculate all timesheets, enter time for 250 employees, send direct
deposit over to the bank, print payroll checks, stamp checks, and stuff into
envelopes, separate checks by checklists for each supervisor and all filing for
payroll.  Telecommuting during data entry. Receptionist Responsibilities include:
Answering switchboard calls and distributing all incoming calls. Handle all
incoming and outgoing mail, all fed ex, UPS, and Lone Star Overnight shipments.
Coding invoices for Accounts Payable as well as entering invoices into the
system.  Review statements for Accounts Payable and call vendors to have them fax
invoices that are not in the system.  Make copies for staff as well as making
copies of blueprints for the project managers and owners.  Assist Vice President
of Finance, Vice President of Operations as well as the owners in any needs
including making phone calls, copies, setting appointments, etc.
