PROFILE: Oracle 11i Senior APPS Database Administrator, with extensive data
processing background (15 years data processing total, fives years
Peoplesoft/Oracle Apps DBA, and seven years Oracle Apps 11i DBA). I have exposure
to the design and management of large scale databases in a Oracle environment.
Experience with performance tuning for Oracle Applications (application and
database). Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a web server environment

Oracle Apps 11i (11.5.10.2). We will move from a standalone server to 10G RAC
configuration, with all new hardware. I will be involved with all phases of
initial development to CRPI, CRPII, UAT and finally Production utilizing a AIM
methodology. There is a team of 30 people with half the development team residing
in India, and I will support all their technical concerns internationally and
domestically, registering programs, controlling change management, and cloning
new environments. This is a brand new implementation.

all around maintenance of fifteen separate instances (Financials (GL, AP, AR))
(two production, thirteen TEST) , on two-tier servers (DB server and APPS server
separated) 11.5.10.r2 implementation. Additional responsibilities in maintaining
six other instances (Mainly 10G) with a second DBA . This is a 24/7 shop with
additional servers located in Moscow, Beijing, and Zurich All of the systems
utilize, cold backups with archives for the production instances. and Standby
Configuration for both production instances. Responsible for all linux
administration, workflow administration, and Discoverer administration. I am
responsible for training users on all Oracle APPS pieces, and for documenting
processes, and resolving SR (system requests) issues. Moved corporate Data
Center, rebuilt unix test server, broke mirrors, and reinstalled operating
system, and test databases due to failed hardware. Company is migrating to SAP
and needed to maintain this environment while transitioning over.
