•	Part of a Performance Tuning Team for a large Defense Contractor implementing
11.5.10 Oracle Manufacturing and Projects.  Duties including performing Explain
Plans, Trace Files and making recommendations to improve performances.  Code
included Forms, Reports6i, and PL/SQL.  Work was performed remote from home.

 
NASCENT SYSTEMS, Dallas, TX	Aug 2007 – Oct 2007
Subcontractor 
•	Developed two custom forms using Forms 6i for an existing 11.5.10.2
environment for a steel trading company.  One form displayed ATP data (similar to
View Item/Supply) based on Item, Grade (a descriptive flexfield on Lot Number, SO
Lines and PO Lines) and Subinventory.  The other form displayed OnHand by Lot
Number, displaying the PO Line that received the Lot and Lot Descriptive
Flexfields; the form was query-able by Item, Grade, Subinventory, Lot Number and
2 difference Descriptive Flexfields.  Development included: setting up
Descriptive Flexfields, developing custom views, indexes, and scripts to assist
the users clean up data.
•	Logged SR (Service Request) for inconsistent behavior of Lot Number
descriptive flexfields on PO Receipts.  Ran diagnostic scripts and functionally
explained the problem using Oracle Service Request on MetaLink.
•	Developed a custom version of the Accrual Rebuild and Reconciliation (AR)
reports that flatten the detail and made it comma delimited so the users could
easily open it in Excel.
•	Developed and tested an unsupported customization to make Common BOMs
un-common and using the BOM Public API add all the components on the BOM in the
Master org to the other four inventory organizations.  Development included
setting up a descriptive flexfield, developing and registering PL/SQL, and
defining custom Menu and Responsibility.

Consultant
•	Developed a custom Oracle Portal Application (data warehouse) using
OmniPortlets in 10g (9.0.4 and 10.1.4) for two automotive and 1 paper location
used for manufacturing plant management.  Mapped Oracle Application data to
custom datawarehouse. Developed the extracts (registered: SQL*Plus,  PL/SQL,
Reports 6i and Unix Scripts) in the Oracle Applications 11i (GL, AP, AR, OM, INV,
WIP and Kronos a via DB Link), imports and data transformation process on the
datawarehouse side.  Coding on the datawarehouse side included Unix Scripts,
SQL*Loader, and PL/SQL.
•	Upgraded a custom On Hand Inventory Balances interface process from 10.7 to
11i which worked for multiple organizations.
•	Re-developed 20+ AR, OM, INV, and WIP custom reports that were upgraded from
10.7 to 11i by other developers that did not run and/or produced the wrong
results.
•	Gathered requirements in France from automotive manufacturing facility and
developed 3 critical manufacturing reports that reported data in the following
modules: GL, AR, OM, WSH, INV, and WIP.
