Project managed the infrastructure (hardware) piece of Global Billing project.
This was a very high profile project that included migrating hardware into the
SDN (Service Delivery Network). The SDN is a logical network environment that is
globally hosted within EDS’ computer centers and enables leveraged services to be
delivered to internal and external customers to be managed consistently and
securely.

Oversaw the successful implementation of Phase 2 - Global Billing System for
reporting using SAP for rating .

market an Integrated Fuel Management System (IFMS) that would logically combine
functionality from the Sabre Flight Operating System (FOS) based Fuel Management
System (FMS) with the Client Server/PowerBuilder/Oracle based Integrated Fuel
Management Analysis and Tracking System (IFMATS) to existing Sabre-Enabled
customers and to new prospective outsourcing customers.
Feb 1998 – Dec 1998 Project Manager (Sabre Technology Solutions)
Temporarily released from American Airlines responsibilities to project manage
the implementation of an Integrated Fuel Management, Analysis, and Tracking
System (IFMATS) for US Airways. Successfully implemented the project ahead of
schedule and on budget.

Assumed responsibility for project managing development activities to implement
a data warehouse for AMR Purchasing. The AMR Purchasing Data Warehouse provides
an Executive Information reporting analysis tool for upper, middle, line
management as well as staff personnel to view past buying activities, trends and
forecasting. Successfully implemented the project on time and on budget.
Instituted new UNIX based data processing approach that saved the Purchasing
customer approximately $30K per month in mainframe costs.

Responsible for project leading the implementation of AAPICS (American Airlines
Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Supply System) for the Canadian Airlines
Purchasing Department as part of a joint venture between American Airlines and
Canadian Airlines. AAPICS provides material management, procurement, receipt
tracking, and invoicing of goods and services. The system was multi-hosted to
accommodate both companies. Successfully implemented the project on time and
under budget.
Apr 1993 - Jan 1994 Programmer-Analyst/Project lead (Sabre Development
Services)
Responsible for supporting AAPICS consulting, maintenance, and enhancement
efforts for AMR Headquarters and (7) Divisional Purchasing offices as both
developer and project lead.
