business logic, data management logic and requisite provisioning interfaces to
enable centralized handling of policies in the Sprint NSE architecture. PAP
manages the Service Lifecycle in its role as a manager for service capabilities,
application profiles and the exposure of service capabilities to applications.
PAP applies policies during the Service Lifecycle Management process. This
project was designed using SOA where in all business logic is implemented in EJB
3.0 and exposed as a web service. These services are orchestrated using Oracle

Schneider National is a global leader in logistics and transportation services.
The Revenue Management System consists of two main modules Customer and Carrier
pricing. Customer Pricing module calculates standard rate, contracted rate and
recommended rate for a specific shipment. Calculation is based on several
factors, such as cost of fuel, transit time, delivery and pickup date time,
customer history, market condition, etc. Carrier Pricing module on the other hand
calculates rates for a list of service providers and ranks these service
providers based on several factors, such as the quote history, win percentage,
price, all these factors will be affect on how service providers will be rank.
Analytics is used for pricing optimization. These modules were designed using
SOA, AIA, Oracle ADF, BPEL and ESB.
