Created a website with C# in ASP.NET 2.0 which displays the corporate financial
results by region including comparison to budget and the ability to drill-down by
category of operations.  Added graphing ability to that website using the
ChartSpace object.  Created a database in SQL Server 2000 which maintains
departmental tasks and application bugs assigned to team members.  Created a
website with C# in ASP.NET 2.0 which displays those tasks and bugs and allows
management and other team members to enter comments and update the status of
those items.  The website also generates notification emails from SQL Server. 
Created a dynamic report generator that builds custom reports in Microsoft Excel.
 Made revisions to an existing reporting system built with VB 6, Excel, and
stored procedures in SQL Server 2000. Added enhancements to a call center support
system also built with VB6 and using Crystal Reports for reporting.

Created a stock/forex trading program named GainesTrader in Visual Basic 6.  The
program uses the web browser control to download current stock prices off the
Internet and sends trading signals via email based on trading systems designed by
the user.  Upgraded the program to Visual Basic.NET.  Created a website
GainesTrader.com in ASP.NET 2.0 with C# to market and sell GainesTrader.  The
website uses PayPal to automatically collect payments from customers.  Created
the website SteveGaines.us in ASP.NET 2.0 with C# to present my professional and
personal records on the Internet.  Used an ASP.NET 2.0 Master Page to provide a
standard interface for pages on the website.  Used the GridView control to
organize lists of records presented on the website.  Used .NET forms
authentication to maintain security.  Created a website named NewCarQuery.com in
ASP.NET 2.0 with C# to provide detailed queries of new automobile data through a
subscription service.

Maintained web-based and Windows-based applications written in ASP.NET and VB 6.
 The applications were originally written in VB 6 with SQL Server on the back end
and using Crystal Reports for reporting services.  New features added included

written in ASP.NET for accessing railcar repair shop manuals online.  A system of
email notifications for the users of those manuals was also  created using
CDONTS.

Created an on-line information system for the company intranet written in
VbScript/ASP with both Oracle and  Microsoft SQL Server databases on the
back-end.  Designed new tables and queries in SQL Server to store corporate memos
and web-based messages.  Used CDONTS to transmit memos by email to designated
recipients.   Created an online suggestion box which automatically assigns
suggestions to handlers based on suggestion topic. Created an online IT project
testing system which allowed users to load test cases and their results.  Created
an online organizational hierarchy using a treeview written entirely in HTML.

Maintained web-based Aspen learning system written in JavaScript/ASP with Visual
Basic components and Microsoft SQL Server database.   Created, debugged, and

Maintained web pages and supporting VB components for corporate intranet.

shopping cart website written in ASP for use by customers in their e-commerce web
sites. The objects use data stored in Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.  Deployed the
components and debugged their operation in MTS.  Designed and deployed the
database used by the shopping cart component including stored procedures and
triggers.  Used hidden form fields to maintain state across the web pages without
the use of cookies or Session objects.  Wrote client-side validation scripts
using JavaScript to validate user input.  Maintained and created web pages
written in Cold Fusion.

Wrote a data conversion application for a mutual fund brokerage entirely in
stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.  Wrote queries to work with data
stored in CSS brokerage industry database.  Used Crystal Reports 7.0 ActiveX
report designer component to create reports of the data converted.  Created a web
browser interface to those reports using Active Server Pages and VbScript.  Also
created reports with the DataReport designer in VB 6 using DataSource classes and

copy process).  Created a graphical interface to automate BCP operations using
