Project Manager/Network Analyst - SIPRNET Expansion Project (2005 - 2006)
- Secure, classified Department of Defense information network (SIPRNET).
- Determined that access to secure information in timely manner in event of an
emergency necessitated the installations of Protected Distribution System(PDS)
for squadron leadership to connect to secure information network. Conducted
initiation meetings with structural engineers, resource advisors, and eventual
end-users to determine scope, budget, and time constraints for project. Performed
site survey of area where PDS drop-boxes were to be installed. Reviewed material
listing and performed system acceptance inspections to ensure that all parameters
of project scope were met.
Flight-Line Project (2003)
- Determined necessity to provide aircraft maintenance crews with network access
“at the aircraft”.
- Developed plan to provide access through wireless connectivity encompassing
units’ aircraft hangars, flight line, ammunition storage, and aircraft
fabrication workshops.
- Oversaw sub-contractor to ensure base guidelines for occupational safety,
equipment installation and security were followed.
