Have completed over 700 custom reports in the last eleven years using Crystal
5.0 - 11.0.

SQL 7/2000: SQL Select Scripts, Views, and much SQL data mining to find test
data for use with Crystal Reports.
            Have significant experience with SQL Enterprise Manager and Query
Analyzer.

Oracle:     Development of several reports that run on Oracle databases, and
many SQL Select Scripts.
            Have also used the TOAD utility program for SQL Data Analysis on
Oracle.

ASP:        ASP files that run Crystal 8.5/9.0 Reports based on SQL Views and
Stored Procedures.

VB6:        Created a Crystal Reports front-end application using Crystal API’s,

            a Directory Comparison program, 
            a FileInfo program that lets users Mass Modify their RASH File
Attributes, 
            and a Unix/MAC to PC text/data File Conversion program.

· Developed over 300 Crystal Reports and Extracts using Crystal 7.0 - 11.0. 
Included many Sub Reports with a lot of Parameter Passing, Graphs and Charts,
Custom Running Totals, Drill Down Reporting, a large number of Complex Formulas,
and extensive use of Section and Field Suppression.


· Did several Crystal 11 reports for one company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
compliant audit controls system.

· Was part of a 3 man team that upgraded and converted over 1000 reports to
Crystal Reports 11 for another company.

· Have created many SQL Select Scripts, including much use of SubQueries and
Group By Clauses.

· Did one very complex Crystal Report that had 9 Sub reports, 5 Sections, and
two Graphs, all on one page.

· Created another report that contained 7 different reports rolled up into one
with over 50 sections and 7 Group Levels.  The sections were printed in sets
based on user supplied Suppression Criteria from SQL Stored Procedures.

· Also have experience setting up a client to do Web Reporting using Crystal
Enterprise Manager 9 and 10.   


Newbay / MSI, Remote Telecommute    05/2008 - 06/2008
Newbay provides telecommunications services to large wireless companies

· Working through a contractor MSI Integrators, created 17 telecommunications
status drilldown reports for Newbay, using Crystal 11 R2 on an Oracle 10g
database.


Cadbury Schweppes, Plano, Tx    03/2008 - 05/2008
Manufacturer and Distributor of many kinds of Soft Drinks and Confectionary
products

· Created several complex SQL Select Scripts, including much use of SubQueries
and Group By clauses, using an ADP Payforce - Oracle database.   Then added
Crystal column headers for use in doing Excel Extracts, and published the reports
using an ADP modified version of Crystal Enterprise Manager 9.   Clients then did
Excel Extracts of these reports using Eportfolio 9.


Concentra, Inc, Dallas, Tx    02/2007 - 04/2007
Providing Worker’s Compensation and Healthcare Cost Management solutions

· Did several Crystal 11 reports for their Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant audit
controls system, on a SQL 2003 database.  The Crystal reports were done as
replacements for an old Access/Excel reporting system.

· Included in these reports were complex formulas, drilldown reports, horizontal
stacked bar charts, special selection filters, custom color subtotals, and a
Crystal 11 Data Only Excel Extract.

· Some reports had special sets of formulas to allow conversion of audit control
question records 1-4 into a one line horizontal display for Yes/No answers.

· Did much SQL data research using SQL Enterprise Manager and SQL Query
Analyzer, and created a set of custom SQL views for the reports.


Countrywide Builder Finance Group (BFG), Dallas, Tx    09/2006 - 12/2006
Provides Real Estate Lending for Land Development and Single-Family Resident
construction.

· Did design and development of Countrywide Loan Administration and Loan
Portfolio Reports using Crystal 10 on a SQL 2000 database.  Included several Sub
Reports with Parameter Passing, Custom Running Totals, many Formulas, and use of
Section and Field Suppression.

· Also assisted other members of the Crystal Reports team with their reporting
tasks.


AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, Addison, Tx    03/2006 - 05/2006
Delivers responsive and innovative healthcare products and solutions for
Manufacturers and Healthcare Providers.

· As a part of a 3 man team, upgraded and converted over 1000 reports to Crystal
Reports 11.

· This included changing each report from an ODBC to an OLEDB driver, re-mapping
db fields to the new database, modifying formulas and updating report fields as
needed, and doing parallel testing (mostly using Excel Extracts) to be sure the
converted reports matched the original reports.  During this project we found
that Crystal 11 does Excel Extracts very well.


Goldman Sachs, New York, NY    08/2005 - 10/2005
Major Brokerage and Financial Services Company.

· Worked on a project creating a set of Crystal 10 reports for their Job Costing
System, which ran on a Unix/UDB database.  

· Also helped them setup and use Crystal Enterprise Manager 10 for their Web
Reporting. 


JP Morgan Chase Bank, Dallas, TX     01/2005 - 06/2005
Large Banking and Financial Services Company.

· Worked as an IBM Global Services consultant on a new Crystal Reports 8.5
project at JP Morgan Chase Bank in North Dallas. 

· This project involved over 50 new reports for a Mutual Funds Processing
System, including many Excel, CSV, Text, and Tab Separated extracts, and much SQL
2000 data mining to find test data sets for use with the Crystal Reports.


Jacuzzi Brands, Dallas, TX     11/2004 - 12/2004
Makers of a full line of pools and spas

· Created a set of Crystal 9 reports on a SQL 2000 database for their Microsoft
CRM system. 


Countrywide Home Loans, Plano, TX     08/2004 - 09/2004
Provides a wide variety of Consumer Home Loan services.

· Helped create a new set of Custom Crystal 10.0 reports for their Checs
financial data application, which runs on a SQL 2000 database, and uses a custom
version of Enterprise Manager 10 as the web-reporting tool for the reports.

· Also provided technical advice and assistance to several of their people who
were new to Crystal Reports, in order to help them understand how best to
implement many different Crystal Reports features, including Excel Extracts. 


Interstate Batteries, Dallas, TX     02/2004 - 07/2004
Providing a wide variety of batteries for almost every need

· Developed a new set of Crystal 8.5 Accounts Payable reports, and reworked
another set of Accounts Receivable reports to run on Stored Procedures to improve
performance.  These reports were done for their AIM Distributor / Vendor
Application, which runs on an Oracle 9i database and uses an ASP Web front end to
run the reports.

· SQL Data Analysis for the Oracle 9i database reports was done using the TOAD
utility program.

· Also assisted their ASP Web developer on some ASP / Crystal Parameter Passing
issues when using Stored Procedures.


Volunteer Center of North Texas, Dallas, TX     08/2003 - 03/2004
Coordinates Court appointed Volunteer Activities in the Greater Dallas - Ft.
Worth area.

· Developed a set of Custom Crystal 9.0 reports, on an as needed basis, for
their new Microsoft CRM system, which runs on a SQL 2000 database, and installed
and set up Enterprise Manager 9 as the web-reporting tool for the reports.

· Data Analysis for the reports was done using SQL Query Analyzer.

· Developed an initial group of Crystal 8.5 reports on a MySQL database for
their new Control Center Network Traffic Monitoring product.


Selkirk Financial Technologies, Inc., Vancouver, BC     07/2001 - 03/2003
A leading global supplier of world-class treasury management tools and services

· Created many custom Crystal 7 and 8.5 reports, on an as needed basis, from my
home in Dallas, TX, for their VB-based Treasury Management System, which runs on
a SQL 7 database.  Included using SQL 7 Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer for
Data Analysis.


CBIZ Property Tax Solutions, Carrollton, TX     04/2001 - 12/2001
A national provider of property tax consulting and compliance services

· Created a series of custom Crystal 7 reports and Excel Extracts, on an as
needed basis, for a VB-based Tax Manager system that runs on a SQL 7 database. 
Included working with SQL 7 Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer.

· Advised CBIZ on how to reduce the runtime of one primary report from 2-3 hours
down to 10-15 minutes.

· Also helped them upgrade from Crystal 7 - 8.5, implement the necessary Crystal
8.5 Runtime Requirements, and convert 60-70 reports.  


Crystal Reports Developer  - J. Driscoll & Associates / Globeset, Inc., Addison,
TX     05/1997 - 10/2000
Financial Industry Consultants providing account reconcilement solutions for
Banks and Corporations

· Created and managed over 400 complex custom Crystal Reports on Crystal 5, 6,
7, & 8.5, for a large scale Universal Account Reconcilement System (UAR) that was
used by over 250 Major National Corporations, including Sears, Pennzoil,
Goodyear, and Target.  This included working with project managers, gathering
customer requirements, and determining reporting solutions.

· Reports were designed to run on ODBC Oracle, SQL, and Informix databases, and
included Sub Reports, many Complex Formulas, and Text/CSV Extracts.

· Developed a whole system for using Crystal Reports to make Dual Entry G/L Text
Extracts that precisely matched each customer’s GL Upload formats.

· Also helped make a special SQL Custom Reports View, and have significant
experience working with the SQL Select statements for Crystal Reports. 

· And created an independent Visual Basic/Crystal Reports Writer using a VB
front-end and Crystal Print Engine API calls for development and testing of the
UAR reports.

· Spent 12 years in the U.S. Air Force, and served one year as a USAF Weather
Officer in Vietnam.
