Profile
Dedicated IT professional spanning several fields and two careers. My first
career began as front line technician, working software changes in the field for
the military. This career continued with extensive training and diverse
positions. My military career concluded with me managing the equipment tear down
of a top-secret intelligence collection site in southern Germany and then the
reassembly of it in New Port News, Virginia.
My civilian career has proceeded along similar lines. First beginning as a
database developer at a small mortgage company in Fort Worth. I have also worked
for several communication companies creating databases and applications.
I am now working in the Health Care Industry, with an eye to implement the same
technologies, so as to “improve their bottom line” as has happened in the
Communication Industry. My career goal is to return to Project Management and be
able to apply the lessons learned over the years to provide outstanding value of
two people for the price of one.
Highlighted Work History
Genesis
· Applied SDLC methodologies to accelerate application creation.
· Developed a method to generate the Blue Cross Blue Shield Reimbursement
process from weeks down to one day.
· Developed methods to translate business goals into software that report
metrics. This was all done by hand on Excel spreadsheets and took days to
compile.
Komen
· Developed, deployed and versioned Grant Management Applications.
· Large scale move of mission critical databases to off site ASP.
· Migration of 200 plus legacy databases into one unified contact management
system
CenturyTel
· Daily team interaction to advance the work on the Residential Services
Campaign. Planned, documented, reviewed, and managed subordinate performance.
· Developed implementation plans. Developed methods for monitoring project
progress.

in areas such as metrics, staffing statistics, resource tracking, unit progress,
