Project Abstract:
This project is related to delivery, customer contact management, payment upload
and statements printing. The system is based on a flexible and powerful
architecture, which facilitates in rapid implementation and maintenance. It also
has integrated security and audit at various levels and supports offline
integration with legacy systems.

Statement printing module: Design, Coding & Testing, SQL and oracle queries.

PROJECT 1:
Title: Video conferencing Using JAVA

DESCRIPTION:
The primary goal of this project was to develop a video conferencing client in
pure Java using the java Media Framework. A secondary aim of this project was to
develop a video conferencing management server to setup, host and monitor video
conferences between several clients.
The finished product is a functional client and server application
capable of being used on a Java enabled platform to create,monitor, and
participate in video conferences involving many clients spread out over large
physical distances. The client program provides the main functionality of the
system involving the actual media management, the streaming of audio and video to
and from other clients.
PROJECT 2:
Title: Web browser Using java & Net Beans

DESCRIPTION:
The web browser is an application that allows us to view but not to alter
documents stored on the World Wide Web. When you sit down and look at web pages,
you are using a web browser. This is the piece of software that communicates with
web servers for you via the HTTP protocol, translates HTML pages and image data
into a nicely formatted on-screen display, and presents this information to your
eyeballs or to your other senses, in the case of browers for the vision-impaired
and other alternative interface technologies. Web browsers also appear in simpler
devices such as Internet- connected cell phones, like many Nokia models, and PDAs
such as the Palm pilot.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a system Designer, I was involved in requirement gathering, designing of user
interfaces, Coding and Testing phases
- Development of client-server module using Java which is the main section of
the project.
- Development of voice and video stream transfer using JMF
- Involved in enhancements and Maintenance of the product
PROJECT EXPERIENCE IN DUBAI:
Project : LexRosettaMaint
Client : Lexis Nexis
Role : Project Associate.

This provides support to the various Rosetta online applications. This involves
the modification of Rosetta online applications to correct faults, to improve
performance or other attributes, or to adapt the product to a modified
environment. Modification requests are logged and tracked, the impact of proposed
changes is determined, code is modified, testing is conducted, and a new version
of the software product is released.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing the code to determine the modifications to be made, depending
on the client requirements
Responsible for Requirement analysis for new enhancements. Onsite
interactions.
Analysis, design and implementation of the enhanced components.
Ensure the quality of the deliverables by effective self review.

CVD addresses Ease of Use enhancements that are being driven by UK Legal LBU of
LexisNexis. It involves significant UI redesign and some functional enhancements
to improve the customer perception and satisfaction with the product. These
changes are applicable to the various 13 adaptations of Lexis Nexis Rosetta
application.

This involves the development of a Page Delivery System (PDS) using frame relay
network for the various Dow Jones sites. PDS process, manage and guarantee the
delivery of electronic press ready pages to 17 printing locations via Frame relay
lines. As a part of this the multicast route for transmitting pages was replaced
with multi-site FTP to the different print plants.

concepts.

Project : DJCCCP.

This is an enhancement project related to Dow Jones corporate credit card
processing (DJCCCP) which helps the organization securely store and process
credit card information and eliminates the need for existing systems to comply
with the data encryption and secure storage regulations set forth by the Payment
Card Industry (PCI). Different Business Unit Web Sites interacts with DJCCCP for
card storage and card transactions. As a part of this project a centralized web
site for credit card collection is introduced.

Project : Super PITS 4.***-

This involves the migration of a Windows NT based Visual C++ application

4.***- Super PITS provide real time data on windows based application for
identified companies and industries. Windows application works as client to
backend Super PITS Display server (SPDS). Super PITS essentially comprises of a
Windows NT/95 executable, which is a separate entity, implemented as a windows
client for the SPDS server process, running on the Sun server. The lower level
communication between the client and the server is established by using TCP/IP &
UDP. The interface is implemented using a message passing method where the
underlying communication channel is a TCP/IP socket connection. An XDR library is
implemented to address the data transfer issue among the different hardware
platforms involved.
