PROJECT AND EXPERIENCE DETAILS


THE CLIENT is $60 billion annual revenue company with over 100000 employee
strength. The company manufactures Operating Systems which covers almost 93% of
the total worlds market. The company has its own set of tools, framework and
utilities which are proprietary and uses internal in the company.

THE PROJECT: - It is a maintenance cum testing project which involves testing of
Operating Systems after there global release. The overall architecture of the OS
is divided into subcomponents. The client has to release the security
fixes/enhancements across the globe bimonthly and to there specific customers on
need basis either FAST TRACK or conventional lengths. I handle the Terminal
Server component of the Operating System. According to project SLA I need to
repro the reported Bug in 2 working day and work on the analysis, fix and testing
around the bugs till closure. In addition to this the project also covers
automation of manual test cases or enables scripts compatible with the Test
tool.

EXPERIENCE (Roles and Responsibilities):-
1.	2.0 year as Software Test Engineer, include Test execution and logging
defect
2.	2.0 years as Software Design Engineer in Test, leading a team of 4 person,
effort Estimation, Resource allocation,Planning,Test Case development,
Automation, Quality Analysis.


TESTING OVERVIEW: This includes Test Planning, Resource allocation, Effort
Estimation, Automation tool(internal to clients) selection, Test Plan creation,
and Test Case development, Automation of manual Test cases using C# and
Automation Test framework, Executing manual and Automated Test case using
proprietary internal client tools.
Analyzed test results, log Defects using defect tracking software (proprietary
client tool). Implemented and complied with client's quality system. Maintained
test records. Performed validation and verification, using simulations. Provided
ideas for improvement. Wrote clear and concise defect reports, system test plans,

ACHIEVEMENTS: Conducted Component based verification and validation testing of
1000 steps. Appreciated from client for fixing unreliable test suite and
improving the automation to make it End-End.
