Responsible for the research, collection and analysis of information pertaining
to Foreign Counterintelligence and terrorism threat of US strategically based
personnel and technology assets. Some areas of focus of research included: ships
of interest, front company research, WMD, FISS assessments, money laundering, and
people smuggling. Implementation and management of the security and
Counterintelligence of Independent Research & Development Programs and classified
contracts. Responsibilities included: Providing security oversight to
subcontractors and contracts, conducting security education and travel briefings,
preparing security plans and procedures, proposals and reports, and conducting
interviews and investigations. Exercised the ability to conduct independent
findings and analysis and make necessary reports/actions as required. I was
assigned to various contract locations as well as the Field Offices of NCIS/FBI
and Joint Offices which worked with local, national, international organizations.

In this capacity, I was responsible for the collection/research, analysis, and
dissemination of information relating to National/International security
interests. Preparing reports and briefings on information such as local criminal
elements, demonstration activity, refugee tracking, weapons storage sites,
sociological/political party membership, and other topics as requested or needed.
I served as Acting NCO for the Intelligence Operations (J2) desk and prepared the
Commander’s Nightly Intelligence Book and was the Army POC for the S2/SP office
at the NRO. Some of my key tasks included investigating security violations,
conducted records checks, security/investigative interviews and performed
inspections and assessments in the areas of operations security, information
security, crime prevention, and intelligence oversight.
