A little About Me
Any thing that has to do with Electricity or has any current flowing through
it I can tell you about it or work on it. From the basics of Ohms law to Digital
logic I mean how many people do know what a J/K flip flop is or What it it does?
What about how A transistor really works and why there's a difference between PNP
and an NPN transistor.Lastly how many people know that with out these theories
and components there wouldn't be computers. I Digress I am just making an attempt
to prove a point. That point is I have training, I have experience, I have drive
and an unimaginable ability to learn quickly and efficiently.
I am motivated and committed to pursuing a long term career in computer
programing. I am presently trying to escape the umbrella the electrical industry
has looming over my head, due to the housing market. A few of my strengths
include, Problem solving, Attention to detail, and dedicated
Programming Languages
C++/C#/C, LUA,
XML HTML CSS Qbasic I also realize that xml and html are really just
Mark up languages..
Other Information about known/unknown languages
I am also currently in the process of learning a few other programing
languages. They are Perl, Java/ajax/script, Ruby, Oracal, and Pascal in that
order. The reason I am learning all of these languages is because Im still not
sure which type of programing I enjoy the most. With that said I want to keep
learning till I find my favorite.
Qualification Summary
All of my programing knowledge stems from an extensive collection
of credited course books, on line classes, and forums created by the language
developers. In the process of learning there were/are several open source
projects I've taken part in. They have mainly been gaming related but programing
none the less. I hope to rectify the gaming stigma by completing development of
my own software application for windows. Its really just an alternative UI look
and structure. In any case back to the topic at hand
I am fluent with many applications including : Microsoft word,
outlook, Front Page, Excel, Power Point, Rhino(3.0,Penguin and Flamingo), Auto
cad 2005, Visual Studio, DEV C, Scite, Notepad++ just to name a few.
The electrical and electronic aspect of my career started while in
high school and has been a part of my daily life ever since. I completed a three
year Electronics Engineering course at Thomas Edison HS of Technology and
received a certification. Then moved on for more training with I.B.E.W local 26
that program included installing, servicing, and trouble shooting of
telecommunications/ network systems, fiber optics, automated control systems,
and building electrical systems. I've been working as an electrical systems
specialist since 1999. Proven to be self driven, adaptive to change, goal
oriented, able to learn extremely fast, well organized, with a strong work
ethic.
