                      1999 – Present

Systems Consultant – Advertising/Marketing Systems Team
Partnering with the Project Manager & Team Lead to provide system and process
enhancements generated through collaboration with the business and issue
resolution mechanisms. 
Accomplishments include:
	Provided promotional systems expertise
	Mentorship of the Connect3 Support team and other areas within the IT
department
	Active participation in a 24/7 support rotation

Programmer/Analyst (2002-2007) – Advertising/Marketing Systems Team
Played a key role in Promotional Systems Transformation (PST) project to replace
Circuit City’s promotional systems with Connect3’s Advertising, Merchandising and
Promotions (AMP) software.  Participated in the technical requirements gathering
sessions and created the data mappings for integration with Circuit City’s core
systems.  Piloted the system in a production-like environment three months after
moving to the Advertising/Marketing Systems area.  Led the packages & All on
Sales (AOS) track during Phase II of the PST project, as well as the end to end
integration testing effort.  The overall success of Connect3 led to a Systems
Analyst promotion in 2007 and a second promotion within the year to Systems
Consultant.
Accomplishments include:
	Developed a Microsoft Access database providing a user-friendly method
of accessing promotional data during weekly pricing validation/testing and SOX
compliance
	Developed the data imports into the Connect3 database and exports out
of the Connect3 database to point-of-sale and various other enterprise
integration points through the use of technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server,
Windows batch file programming, Unix shell scripting, Informatica and Autosys.
	Partnered with the Desktop Support team to rollout the installation
package to 200 plus corporate users. 
	Supported the system and user community until turnover to the
application support group in May 2006
	Provided expertise on enterprise systems during the early phases of the
PST project, Phase II of the Connect3 project.  
	Worked with the software vendor on new modules for the creation of
rebates, coupons and financial promotions, in addition to enhancements in the
offers module.  
	Designed and developed the package/AOS integration piece that was also
used as the foundation for the other promotional entities’ designs
	Revamped the Rebate Liability Engine residing on the AS/400 removing
serious system defects and streamlining the process to eliminate a two day
lag-time in posting liability adjustments to downstream systems
	Developed and held an internal training session on the AS/400 testing
tool, TestBench, for 30+ developers
	Became the promotions expert in the IT department through work on
various tactical projects including the addition of exclusion logic for packages
and automating the promotional download process.  This expertise led to a lateral
move to the Advertising/Marketing Systems team for a part in the promotional
systems transformations initiative.


Programmer (1999 – 2001) – Merchandising Systems Team
Worked with senior team members to code and test applications for the
Merchandising business area.  Led 
various projects through full lifecycle development for both GUI and batch
applications.  
Accomplishments include:
	Support and maintenance of applications within the areas of
Merchandising, Sales and Inventory.
	Developed and held a classroom course on using the Analyzer Test
Coverage tool.
	Member of the Toastmaster club holding offices for Treasurer and Vice
President of Public Relations.
	Design, development and implementation of the Automated Programming
System built to capture Planogram data in the MarketMax Application and
systematically set replenishment levels.  Developed both GUI and batch processes,
created the integration and system test environments, executed the test scripts
and created a regression test environment for post-implementation modifications
for the application support team.  Created a user-training environment for use by
the business team.  Success of the Automated Programming project led to a
Programmer/Analyst promotion in early 2002.
