Corporation. This system is a WEB enabled remote Data Entry application that
allows the Pharmaceutical companies or CROs to enter the clinical data remotely
over the Web or Intranet. It also allows the users to generate, transmit, and
resolve the Discrepancy records. The system is an XML based application, and

is stored in either Oracle Clinical or Clintrial. The system is integrated with
Oracle Clinical’s Data Capture API and Clintrial’s Batch Data Upload API to
transfer data to the backend database.
Led the development efforts on the CRF Workflow product. This product provides
Workflow and Imaging capabilities for Clinical Report Form(CRF) tracking process
for Pharmaceutical industry. It greatly improves the efficiency of the clinical
research process and has been accepted as a standard system by many
Pharmaceutical companies. The application is also integrated with different
clinical database systems including Oracle Clinical and Clinitrial to provide
Automatic Data Upload, Split Screen Data Entry, and Discrepancy processing
functions. Other features include audit trial, image conversion to PDF, study
archive, and generating submission data to FDA. The product is written in C++,
and Visual Basic. The clinical database APIs integrated within the system
includes Oracle Clinical Imaging API, Oracle Clinical Data Upload API, and
Clintrial Data Upload API. The various technologies implemented into the product

MAPI Email engineer, Automatic fax import, Optical storage, and remote access.
11/95-9/98 Universal Systems Inc
Technical Lead
As the technical lead, successfully led the development and delivery of the
following projects:
Developed and implemented a large scale, multi-site Document Management/Workflow
system for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals, which features document scanning,
indexing, Barcode reading, OCR/Automatic data entry, automated incoming and
outgoing fax, optical storage management, and Workflow processing. The system was
based upon the Documentum system environment, running on Sun Solaris as the Unix
server. The development tools included C++, Visual Basic, ASP, HTML, and Oracle
PL/SQL.
Developed a multi-platform imaging/workflow system for Sony Music Corporation.
The system utilized workflow technology to manage Sony Music’s account payable
process, which handled large amount of invoices, receipts, checks and claims
daily. The system featured many automated processes within the workflow, which
greatly reduced the turn-around time of the invoice processing. The system was
implemented on the MS SQL Server database.
Led the CRF Workflow system development effort for OTSUKA Pharmaceuticals. This
is a client/server application featuring document scanning, indexing, barcoding,
automatic lab page processing, Optical storage management, batch printing,
document retrieval and Workflow Processing. The system includes Novell Netware as
the file server, DEC Alpha machines as the Database server running ORACLE
Relational DBMS(ver 7.0), TCP/IP as network protocol and MS Windows client
workstations.
Was the lead developer on the Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals Imaging
project. This is a client/server application featuring image scanning, indexing,
ad hoc retrieval, OCR recognition and full text search. The application was
written in C and Visual Basic.
